Hi Johnnie! So glad I found your FlossTube, it popped up so I watched and loved it. I love seeing more men doing cross stitch FlossTube videos. Loved hearing about your road trip in the US, your mishap with the tire and your adventure at the Karaoke Bar. The Attic is one of the cross stitch stores I would love to go to someday. Loved your haul, a lot of great patterns and fabrics. I went to my first LNS when visiting my son in Colorado. I to spent a little to much money, but my husband enabled me a little also. Jessica the Sweet Water Stitch said, if there is a pattern that you love buy it if it makes you happy. Sorry to hear about your loss it is always hard when you lose someone close. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Happy Stitching
Happy to have found your channel this evening! Yes, the heat over here in the south US is something that you have to get used to. It seems to get worse every summer too. I loved every bit of your haul!! Yes, the fabric is pricey, but man it is so worth it. Look forward to catching up with your other videos! Take care, Ruth.
I’m so pleased you kept it real about the cost of your haul. I watchFloss tubers who have numerous patterns and the called for floss and never bat an eyelid 😮 To me each piece is a major financial investment so is given some thought. I’ve just bought my first silks for a project and I’m so excited. Anyway it’s lovely to see you back 😊
It’s a financial investment and a personal investment of your time too right. So important to pick the pieces that we know we’ll enjoy for years. Hope you enjoy the silks for your project!
I so enjoyed seeing your haul, and can completely relate to your feelings about the quantity and cost of it all. However, every time you look at one of those items, you'll fondly recall your vacation. I also look at haul as souvenirs from the trip. I was fortunate to get to The Attic, and even though I had been in probably 20 different LNSs before The Attic, I too was overwhelmed and just didn't know where to start. Think how much you could have spent if you had more time. I had flown to Arizona and was on a bus tour, so aware that I couldn't bring too much back with me. I hear you about the exchange rate to Australian dollars as the rate is just about the same as to my Canadian dollars. It hurts, but we are so worth it!
New subscriber! I enjoyed it thoroughly. And yes, haul is hard isn't it?! I have a whole box of patterns that I absolutely love and cant wait to stitch.
Your collector explanation was perfect ha. We are collecting art and we do need them right beside us waiting for us in the drawer lol. Loving watching your progress!
I just found your flosstube thanks to Emma Shepherd. I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed Texas. I live near Fredericksburg , TX and call the Tinsmiths Wife my LNS. So wish I would have seen your flosstube prior to your trip to the US.
I loved the Tinsmiths Wife. Such an amazing store with a beautiful atmosphere! Would gladly visit again one day. Texas itself has grown on me since I passed through. I just want to go back again!
Johnnie, Johnnie, Johnnie, cross stitching and collating a collection of patterns are two completely different hobbies. There's nothing wrong with enjoying both, sometimes it's just nice to look at the patterns, doesn't mean that you have to stitch them. 💜
Commenting as I watch… I’ve stitched a couple different things on The Boleyn linen (side note: I think Primitive Hare is an Aussie designer), but it is amazing. Be careful, though. It’s not colorfast. I stitched the bonus design from Winter Rose Manor on it and made a pillow. Can’t remember which episode I showed it on, but it was later in 2022. Also made a pin pillow with a tiny bird I stitched carrying a love letter in his beak. It was the perfect 34:08 fabric for a love letter. 😊 Can’t wait to see what you end up doing with it!
They sound like lovely projects. I wonder if I'll ever be confident enough to try making a pillow or soft finish. I need to practice on really small projects just to get me into it. Thank you for the tip on colour fastness!
Hi! Your video just popped into my you tube recommended to watch and I enjoyed your story and subscribed. I’m a New Mexico girl now living in the Dallas TX area so I especially enjoyed hearing you talk about your trip. I live only a couple hours from the Tin Smiths Wife shop and haven’t been there, think I need to make the trip after hearing you describe it. I look forward to seeing more from you! Happy Stitching! 😊
Thank you for the video good to see you back. I’m glad you enjoyed your holiday and I can’t believe the restraint you had in the shops. The Attic is a shop on my bucket list if I every get into the states in that area. Thank you for the phase “I’m an art collector” I will use that every time the hubby says you bought more? 😂😂 until next time enjoy your stitching and reading.
Good to see you! Enjoyed your travel tales. You did a great job with your haul by buying things that spoke to you, that you love and a little bit different to try. You will always remember your U.S. stitches. Welcome to the Hawk Run family you think you can stitch just one? Ha! Thanks for the book recommendations I am always on the hunt for a good read.
I'm glad you had fun in the US. I think some of your primitive hare linens go with certain patterns of hers, but you can use them for whatever you want. Love the versatility of fabrics. I need to buy that moon pattern. It looks gorgeous. I'm sorry to hear about your uncle. I hope you and your family are doing well. Can't wait for another video!
Thank you for the condolences ❤ The moon pattern is striking for sure. I did notice that the blue fabric does go with one of the patterns I saw in store but as you say, they're still versatile enough to be able to use elsewhere.
Condolences to you and your family on the passing of your Uncle. The Primitive Hare does have some very creative fabric! That is Anne Bolyn (Bo-lin). (She was one of the wives of Henry VIII and he had her beheaded). So glad you had such a wonderful trip to the US and found some good needle shops - you found two great ones! I'm sure you needed a good rest once you got back to Australia! The Hawk Run Hollow series are very cool and Heart in Hand has many Tiny Town series that are so cute! I love your Greenhouse of Oddities - it is coming along nicely. Am looking forward to checking out Good Reads. And yes - don't we all love to collect patterns!
Loved the video and very happy to see you return. I cannot believe how restrained you were in those two shops in the States! I've added you on Goodreads - we have eight books in common 🙂. I totally agree about the power of losing yourself in a book - it's a special thing. And my condolences on the passing of your uncle.
So happy you had such a great visit to the US, despite misadventures with tires and gin. 😂 I’m jealous about your visit to The Attic. It’s on my bucket list. Sincere condolences to you and your family on your loss. I’m sorry it’s been a difficult time.
First time watching you. I don’t cross stitch however my sister does and that is why I watched you. It was because of her. I live in Phoenix and you are correct it is brutal here in the summer. I enjoyed your video. Thank you.
So glad you are back Johnnie! I am sorry for your loss. So hard when we lose someone close to us. Enjoyed hearing your stories about your trip and your shopping haul. To be honest, I haven't stiched in about 4 months but I sure have collected haul! Looking forward to your next video.
Welcome back! Your mocha fabric is for tiny town! Sometimes those extreme mottling fabrics call for a piece that has a solid one color or variegated floss with a simple pattern. You don't want the pattern and fabric fight for attention. Your treasures can be souvenirs and will remind you of your trip. The greenhouse is incredible! Be careful of your Bellas, and really any cross stitch don't leave them in the hoop unless the tension is lessen, you will have permanent creases in the fabric.
Laughing throughout this entire video! Sounds like you had a great trip. The heat is no joke. Since you were in Dallas we’ve had excessive (even for Texas) heat for 21 days straight. Up to 112°. I may have to take a trip down to the Tinsmith’s Wife. I absolutely love that owl needleminder. So gaudy! I think that linen is named after Anne Boleyn, one of Henry the 8th’s wives. And you are right about Dallas. You can eat and shop. There are some world class museums, which I love. Not much to do in the way of outdoor activity. Not like Sedona, which is breathtaking. I loved my trip there in 2019. So glad to see you back again.
Well, that was a lovely visit. Thanks Johnnie. I enjoyed hearing about your trip and seeing your treasures from it as well. I love that your partner picked things also. That support is the best. Thanks for sharing your time and your stitching with us again. I look forward to the next one.
So fun to see you back Johnnie! Your road trips are epic so I enjoyvicariously through your stories. Keep 'em coming! I am also a voracious reader so listening to audio books while stitching away. Enjoying hearing what you're reading, an eclectic mix. One of my favorites in the past year is The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune. So unexpectedly good on so many levels. A feel good to balance the heavies.
@@johnniesaxon I'm a huge fan of TJ Klune's books (his Green Creek series - starting with Wolfsong - is fantastic!), but I would perhaps offer his food for thought about The House in the Cerulean Sea: Klune has admitted in several interviews that he used Canada's history of the residential school system and the "Sixties Scoop" as "inspiration" for that book. Personally, I find a white author using the very real cultural genocide of Indigenous people as the inspo for a fantasy novel to be inappropriate, but of course, every reader is allowed to draw their own line in the sand.
I am so happy that you had a wonderful vacation and are home safe and sound! Excited that you liked your trip to Texas! 🤠 We love visitors and hope you felt our wonderful Texas hospitality! You are now part of the Texas family! Looking forward to your next video. Happy stitching! 😊
Condolences to you and your family on the loss of your uncle. Nice to hear you had a great trip to the U.S. and were able to stop in at a couple of shops. Great haul that will keep you busy for a while. You won't need to buy anything for a while! Look forward to seeing your progress on your new charts, fabric, etc.
So happy to see you back and the damage you did to your wallet. Your trip stories were interesting and funny I thoroughly enjoyed hearing and seeing all your haul and WIPs. Happy to try some of your reading recommendations. It is always difficult to find time to read these days but nothing replaces getting immersed in a good book. Thanks you for a wonderful episode once again.
Welcome home! Awesome haul, very jelly. I'm sure it was amazing visiting those stores, and that haul and everything you make will be keepsakes from your trip - so worth it! 🖤 The decorative needles for the Primitive Hare Moon Queen needle book are called "Moon & Sun pin set", I've seen them at an Aussie ONS I buy from regularly: 'A Stitch in Time'.
I am sometimes embarrassed about saying “Unbroken” is one of my favorite books (because of the horrible things in it), but I loved it. Unbelievable what people went through during WWII. And what we humans are capable of (good and bad). I am sorry for your loss. I’m glad your reading has helped you find ways of getting through. ❤️
So glad you had a good time over here in the states. I also listened to Unbroken. It is a very heartbreaking book. It is so tragic what the prisoners went through. To survive so much is so courageous. I couldn’t do it. There is also a movie out about him. Lots of nice haul. Happy stitching.😊
You’re exactly correct about the states. In hot cities you will have a lot of tire issues. I live in the CA/AZ desert and it’s been 110+ for 2 months. Love the AZ skyline. I’ve lived in Dallas and other cities in TX as well. So happy you were able to experience the Southwest and Needlework shops😊 The Tiny Town Halloween has color conversions you can find on social media, some include purples😉🧵🪡
So happy that you did another video. I think you nailed the USA. And I am from the US. We call all the tires off the road Texas roadkill, by the way, lol.😊
Hi Johnnie, I just found your channel and really like your video. I am from the Netherlands and returned from a US road trip about six weeks ago and I am still processing. We started our trip in Seatlle and went down to Phoenix (it was 44 degrees at the time and bloody hot). We also went to San Francisco, Grand Canyon and yes, The Attic!! I was prepared and saved up so I could splurge but man did I spend money 😂 I also bought the dark blue PTP fabric and I went with Halloween at Hawk Run Hollow. I really like you Greenhouse WIP, I want to stitch that one some day. Just like you I love to read, I work at the library, and I can recommend The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. I just finished it and loved it very much. Nice to meet you! Joanita🌷
I watched your flosstube and heard about your wonderful trip. So crazy that we followed a similar path. Almost like a pilgrimage for international stitchers 🪡😅 that heat was an eye opener for me taking as the main character of our trip, until SF! Thank you for the book recommendation. Added it to my want to read list! Looking forward to your next flosstube. 💕
@@johnniesaxon thank you for your nice reply! For us the heat started when we went from Sequoia to Las Vegas. The further we got the hotter it got. But I would visit the Attic even if it was 60 °C outside! 😅 Have a great weekend! 🌷
Glad you had a good trip to the US. I too have more patterns and kits than I can get done. However, that doesn't stop me from buying more cross stitch stuff when I see something I like or find a good sale!
Hi johnnie...glad you got to experience our great state! Hope you tried our wonderful food as well......as far as patterns goes you can never have too many...I had to put bookcases in my craft room to hold all my stuff. 😂 I have the cross stitch crazies! Come back and visit again cause your family now😊 Vicki in houston
Omg I am so jealous of your haul!! Also I think we may be twins. I am hoarding the exact same primitive hare patterns in my stash and the same picture this plus fabric. The longstitch piece does give me stardew valley vibes but I thought of the Oregon trail old PC game when I first saw it. Wish we had more needlework stores like the ones in the US here!
So glad to see you back😊 It sounds like you had tons of fun on your US trip. Yes LNS blackout is a real thing. I don’t have one close to me so when I get to one I just blackout. You got so much fun stuff. That floral tree pattern you got will look extremely striking on that PTP Mystic fabric. It’s one of my favorites Also really enjoyed all the bird chirping in the background. So soothing. Lastly you are correct, there are two hobbies here. One is stitching and the other is stashing/ collecting 😅
The wildflowers pattern is turning out to be a favorite and I agree the Mystic fabric would be perfect for it. Haha i thought someone would notice the birds. We're at the end of winter here so the birds are all migrating here from Indonesia I believe. Some of the birdsongs are lovely :) Hope you are doing well - I'll be checking in with your latest FT ❤
I am so very happy to see you back 😊 your haul and rediscovery of books and the magic they bring is so wonderful. I am currently reading Wednesdays at One and it has really drawn me in, not finished, but so far I am absolutely intrigued and would recommend. Thank you so much for sharing your trip, your haul, and the books. I have several notes and will be reading 3 of the books you brought up. Also, was wondering if, when you are ready for a new start, you might want to SAL a Hawk Run Hollow, Wildflowers, or Moon Queen ? If so, just let me know which one I should kit up and we can work out the details. My goal is to choose a Hawk Run to start in December/Jan and do a block a month on that one, the others I would just see how best to divide them up into manageable pieces. Anyway, I should stop rambling lol Looking forward to your next video. Happy Stitching -Kimberly aka Lily's Mama
Tiny town is a very quick stitch I have done 2 of them so far- the creator is local to my area Cincinnati Ohio. Going to AZ in October and hope to hit the Attic too! love to hear about your adventures glad you enjoyed the USA. Winter reading coming up hope to try a few you suggested.
Thank you, that was fun to watch! What a good haul you got. I especially like the eyes on that owl 👀My immediate thought was "stardew valley" with that one quirky pattern as well. Can you fill it with stardew chickens and cows and items? Just sprinkle them about 😁And, seeing you sampler picks (and I apologize on behalf of your etsy basket), have you seen M.A. Reeve, 1824 by Kathy Barrick? A crazy deer and turqoise 🥰I just found it recently, and it has to join my wips asap!
What a great idea! I could totally add little stardew characters to it. Also what a great pattern recommendation. I just checked it out and the deer is nuts 🦌🤪
I’m so glad you throughly enjoyed your Midwest vacation. Yup, the heat will do that to your brain. Great haul! You definitely bought some things that would be hard to acquire at home, or at least very costly for shipping. I love the counted canvas work (Mountain Trails) you picked up. That calls for some kind of SAL. Happy Stitching 🧵🪡
You need to look up the chart called "Immortal" by Lucy Beam Love in Stitches. You'll love it! I need to get it still. The wife and I enjoyed your haul. So glad you had a good time.
Glad you had a good time in the states. You did come at a very hot time. I'm in MN, and we don't pay for air here lol so that sucks you got charged for air where you were. It's the same with bags when you go shopping, some states you will have to pay for a bag, whereas others you don't. Anyway, it was fun seeing your haul! I can't wait to see that tiny town with the color conversion!
Welcome back! Lovely patterns you picked out and that fabric was amazing. Glad you had fun on your trip through the south west! Can’t wait to see your progress on Hawk Run! I picked up the year at hawk run and I can’t wait for starty September so I can start it!
Johnny, you visited two of the premier shops! Wow!! Great choices! Sedona and the Grand Canyon are so lovely. I havent visited Austin but the music scene is legendary! Im a G&T lover too. I put blood orange in mine😊
Hawk Run Hollows are amazing. I am currently stitching on Halloween at Hawk Run Hollow. Just be aware that each box feels like it won't take very long, but there are more stitches in them than it looks. So glad that you had fun on your trip. Sorry about your uncle. Great video.
I remember when I visited a store on my vacation with a friend and she saw my bag and said that's it I expected more and I said it's a small but expensive bag 😂 silks are very nice to work with and I feel like for the price dinky dyes is so lovely. Not as expensive as most silks but still a good experience
I just finished When Breath Becomes Air and loved it. I can related directly as my husband died from lung Cancer. Keep the book recommendations coming. I started Sue Monk Kidds novel The Invention Of Wings. It is my second book from her.
Like most books/films that come in a series, I think the first one is always the best, so try reading "Along Came a Spider" to see what you think . The one I'm reading is number 30 I think so they can't be too bad 🌞
The print on the boleyn fabric is probably one of Anne Boleyns love letters to King Henry the Vlll of England (his 2nd wife who he eventually beheaded 😳)
I watch the sable stitchers, and they say sable means “stash amount beyond life expectancy” Just collect all things you like because they may go out of print. I’m reading Pretty Pretty Boys by Gregory Ashe. It’s a good series.
I love that! It's a real thing for us though. No matter what we call it. Thank you for the book recommendation, I haven't heard of Gregory Ashe before.
Welcome back. The Attic is a destination I only hope to get to some day. How lucky you were to visit there. Just a thought....Looks like Wildflowers is a monochromatic pattern. Would it look good on that beautiful dark blue piece of fabric? It is hard to always see colors accurate on the screen. Enjoyed your You tube. Many years ago I lived in Arizona (1970's) and YES it got hot. Dark hair much more becoming!
Love your work Johnie. Or should I say, love your shopping! I bought a piece of Primitive Hare fabric earlier this year- complete w shipping to Australia, I almost had to switch to instant coffee just to pay for it! Sorry about your uncle.
I want to know where you found that fab MTV sweatshirt!?! Yes on the books Johnny! I'm reading The Mermaid Chair (again) by Sue Monk Kidd. I read at my mother's side at the hospital. I lost her 20 years ago. Seldom do I reread but I wanted to see how it affected me now at 67...
The pullover was from h&m. I saw it in store and I was like ooh ‘soon to be vintage’ must pur-chase. I was find it interesting to reread a book from my youth and how it will affect my memory of it. Some books I avoid because I know it will change. Like I won’t read Paulo coelho’s books again because I had such different thoughts about my spirituality now vs when I was 20! And I want to hold on to that lovely hope I had back then and not taint it with time and experience.
Interesante proyectos...los imanes son hermosos. Suerte de tener tanta variedad. En España es complicado conseguir cosas hermosas....y los pedidos online a estados unidos...son una sorpresa con impuestos de aduana. Feliz día desde barcelona
Great video. Loved hearing about your trip and seeing your haul. Totally not cross stitch related, but what types of birds do you typically get in your yard? They sound very different from what we have in my neck of the woods (Canada).
I enjoy your videos Johnnie! I'm like you exactly, I just want the pattern, near me and yeah I don't know when I'll stitch it. I have a massive shopping cart full on 123 stitch I plan to buy soon! I read My Best Friends Exorcism and I loved it. Grady Henricks books are fun. It is a movie now too. I cannot remember which platform it is on but it was really good , true to the book if you can find it in Australia. 1 question. That bird art in the background on your wall... is that a cross stitch or ..? It really caught my eye. Forgive me if you've mentioned it before. I think I've seen all your videos but I can't be sure. Take care. -Beckie
Beckie! So delayed in my response! Bad on me for my terrible comms! The bird is from a local Sydney artist that I bought for a gallery in Newtown. Sadly I can’t remember the artist and I’m away from home at the moment. I’ll find out and mention it My next video 💕
Laughing so hard hearing your account of Texas. South west heat is a dry heat. Next time you come over try the south east. Start in Florida and go up the coast. You will feel like your swimming. Wet heat. Happy stitching.

OMG 21 days. I was so thankful once I reached SF and got a jacket out. I can only imagine what everyone is going through when it's that long!
That book has been mentioned to me so many times that it is now living on my reading list! Thank you Michele.
Thanks so much!
Thank you Sue ❤️
So happy to see you back and the damage you did to your wallet. Your trip stories were interesting and funny I thoroughly enjoyed hearing and seeing all your haul and WIPs. Happy to try some of your reading recommendations. It is always difficult to find time to read these days but nothing replaces getting immersed in a good book. Thanks you for a wonderful episode once again.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Welcome home! Awesome haul, very jelly. I'm sure it was amazing visiting those stores, and that haul and everything you make will be keepsakes from your trip - so worth it! 🖤
The decorative needles for the Primitive Hare Moon Queen needle book are called "Moon & Sun pin set", I've seen them at an Aussie ONS I buy from regularly: 'A Stitch in Time'.
Oh lovely - Ill definitely reach out to Stitch in Time to get those. Thank you Amara!
Really enjoyed your video, will be back!
Great to be home !
Great to see you .
Wonderful haul. It’s a lifetime inheritance ..Could of brought postcards 😂 instead.
Save that wallet of mine. Maybe next time 😅
I am sometimes embarrassed about saying “Unbroken” is one of my favorite books (because of the horrible things in it), but I loved it.
Thanks Kris. Unbroken is a lot to take in but it’s such a great story to learn.
I'm so happy to have experienced it too. AZ has such a beauty to it. Would go back there for sure.
So happy that you did another video. I think you nailed the USA. And I am from the US. We call all the tires off the road Texas roadkill, by the way, lol.😊
Haha that pans out. It's definitely like road kill.
Have a great weekend! 🌷
Glad you had a good trip to the US. I too have more patterns and kits than I can get done. However, that doesn't stop me from buying more cross stitch stuff when I see something I like or find a good sale!
Glad you made it to The Attic! And yes, it was nasty hot here in Arizona! 🔥 Happy stitching!
Love seeing a video of your pop up!
Yes to more stores! It has to happen eventually right. Maybe when I'm finally tired of the daily grind I'll just open up a cross stitch book store!
So glad to see you back😊
It sounds like you had tons of fun on your US trip. Yes LNS blackout is a real thing. I don’t have one close to me so when I get to one I just blackout.
You got so much fun stuff. That floral tree pattern you got will look extremely striking on that PTP Mystic fabric. It’s one of my favorites
Also really enjoyed all the bird chirping in the background.
Thanks so much Kimberly! I’m always so scared of starting a SAL, but I’ll definitely think about it. Maybe wildflowers? 🌸
I think I’ll be stitching tiny town next since its a quick one!
I wouldn't even now where to begin with a SAL! But honestly it's an amazing looking piece. So glad you liked it too.
😊💕
Thank you for the Pokémon analogy! I am going to start using this to explain pattern buying to my friends that just do not understand
Perfect!
You need to look up the chart called "Immortal" by Lucy Beam Love in Stitches. You'll love it! I need to get it still. The wife and I enjoyed your haul. So glad you had a good time.
Love the humour in that pattern 😂
G&T was my choice and that night tested my relationship with G&T lol.
Hawk Run Hollows are amazing. I am currently stitching on Halloween at Hawk Run Hollow. Just be aware that each box feels like it won't take very long, but there are more stitches in them than it looks. So glad that you had fun on your trip. Sorry about your uncle. Great video.
Looking forward to starting the huge hawks run. Have to consider it when I look at my 2024 plans
I remember when I visited a store on my vacation with a friend and she saw my bag and said that's it I expected more and I said it's a small but expensive bag 😂 silks are very nice to work with and I feel like for the price dinky dyes is so lovely. Not as expensive as most silks but still a good experience
Good to see you back. If it makes you feel better, you are ahead of me on Garden of Oddities. :)
I just finished When Breath Becomes Air and loved it. I can related directly as my husband died from lung Cancer. Keep the book recommendations coming. I started Sue Monk Kidds novel The Invention Of Wings. It is my second book from her.
I’m so sorry about your husband ❤️ That book would have spoken to you in such a different way.
I’ll do my best to keep the mini book tube going!
I am on my 4th 'Alex Cross' book this month, they were building up...only 1 left until Im up to date with them. I also read all Stephen King books 😍
I haven't read an Alex Cross novel. Looks like my type of jam. What do you recommend?
Like most books/films that come in a series, I think the first one is always the best, so try reading "Along Came a Spider" to see what you think . The one I'm reading is number 30 I think so they can't be too bad 🌞
The print on the boleyn fabric is probably one of Anne Boleyns love letters to King Henry the Vlll of England (his 2nd wife who he eventually beheaded 😳)
123stitch is in Lewisville TX just outside of Dallas.
Ooh that's a great idea for the blue fabric. The white would contrast really well.
17:20 that is so relatable 😂
Love your work Johnie. Or should I say, love your shopping! I bought a piece of Primitive Hare fabric earlier this year- complete w shipping to Australia, I almost had to switch to instant coffee just to pay for it! Sorry about your uncle.
Right! I could imagine it cost an arm and a leg. 💲💲💲
You made it to an H‑E‑B. We’re friends forever now.
That grocery store is epic. Was lost in the aisles 😂
Best to visit Texas in late September or October.
I know this now! 😅
I'm glad you are back. Is there such a thing as too many patterns? Don't we call it "building stash"?
@@johnniesaxon thanks for your reply! And no worries !
You should read Babel by the author of Yellowface. Much better story and the writing is amazing
Primitive Hare you bought was pronounced as the 2nd wife of King Henry VIII Anne Boleyn Bo-lynn
Laughing so hard hearing your account of Texas. South west heat is a dry heat. Next time you come over try the south east. Start in Florida and go up the coast. You will feel like your swimming. Wet heat. Happy stitching.
That sounds equally hot! I am definitely coming back but I've decided Spring or Fall is my best bet.
