Hey Elizabeth, on your Merry Cmas sampler that has some bleed through, they washing it with Shout stain catcher sheets. I had a tragedy happen with bleed through on a pirate robin project, and the stain came right out! It’s an amazing product for stitchers

This is my first time watching this floss tube, I saw "WIP Parade" and that it was over an hour long and so thought, "oh perfect, this will be a nice longish floss tube so I'll get a lot accomplished on my WIP. Well 46. minutes in I think I've only gotten 40 stitches in because I can't look away. Pure gold comedy, in the best way. I wondered how the name "thread gremlins" was chosen and now I know 🤣. It's been too long since I've laughed, I'm so glad I found this. SUBSCRIBED.

I started my first Chatelaine last month, I have 5 patterns, I got the mandala for each spot we went to on our honeymoon. Gardens of London is the one I started, I LOVE it but man it's really testing my stitching skills. I got the beads and speciality threads (minus the Gloriana's) from European Cross stitch and it didn't take too long. I sourced the Gloriana's from a variety of online needle shops and still need 2 more but then I'll have them all.
That’s so ambitious! I hope they go well for you. Mine makes my eyes cross.

Only 30 minutes in but omg I relate to Caroline’s cross stitch journey so much! Started stitching, fell down the flosstube rabbit hole, wanted to do what others were doing, and acquired so much stash !!! I love everything that I’ve finished but I have a ton of stash that is not necessarily my style or something I would stitch anymore. I’m trying to be more intentional with my starts next year . ❤
There are so many beautiful things, and it’s particularly hard when you’re just starting out in the craft and can’t tell what will be a fun stitch and what won’t!
Feeling relieved to of clean out. Needed a fresh start, BAD
I love the "organized" chaos of the wip parade! It's delightful seeing all your projects, flosses, and potential finishes for 2025. Y'all made me laugh aloud multiple times throughout, and the wip parade's length is perfect for stitching to. Thanks for keeping me company!

Your WIP parade provided inspiration for me to go through all my WIP’s as well! Instead of trashing things like Caroline, I find I go the other way, wanting to start, continue or finish stitching everything I pull out, lol. Like Aimee, I need to stop buying patterns and concentrate on stitching the amazing patterns I have already collected. Unfortunately there is a SAL I want join already in 2025 for the Kathy Barrick Quaker Stocking, and I need that pattern! Merry Christmas ladies, I look forward to catching up with in the new year!
I feel so light now that I got rid of everything, now I actually want to stitch everything in my project bags. I agree that swan stocking is v v tempting

My Greenhouse got put into Hibernation after I made mistakes in the cactus and couldn't work my way out of it AND I wasn't a huge fan of the fabric I chose so now I want to restart it especially now that I can just put it all into Markup and just do it as one piece.
An error like that can really derail a project… and is very understandable on greenhouse. I’ve had some deep breath moments with it, for sure.

I tried rail-roading with a little project to see if I could tell the difference. And whilst I *could* see a bit of a difference, it was not "bringing me joy" - and it was not worth the extra time it took for every single stitch on every single project.
I do railroad when using white, sometimes, but that's it. Xx

@Threadgremlins oh good! It should be. It's such a pretty pattern, and yours has its own fabulous backstory now.
You can't judge the size of a project by the size of the fabric because you have many that you haven't cut the fabric to size. Why don't you cut it? Doesn't it make it harder to work with when you have all this extra fabric still attached?
