- Опубліковано 1 жов 2024
- The Halo75 V2 Mechanical Keyboard is said to be 10x faster than version one, with 9000x RGB! They took 20 months to refine and reinvent this version since the first and it is truly a marvel!! 6 Layers of sound dampening and an OUT OF THE BOX THOCK this is beautiful!! It also can be controlled with SignalRGB and QMK/VIA now!! Is this style of keyboard still relevant in the new Magnetic HE world? Let's discuss!! Is this good for gaming as well brother?
@@johnecismadrid9761 yea this is SOLID for gaming!! It feels great in the hand and is solid so it’s sitting still no matter how aggressive you’re gaming. I love the feel of this keyboard!
i have halo96 v1, the keycaps a bit small for me, this v2 keycaps bigger than the v1
Great review, man. I like that you mentioned your experience with prior models in the brand's catalogue. It's a testament to its quality and also tells me you're paying careful attention to whether things have improved or regressed. Definitely gonna snatch one of these up now. All the best.
Thank you brother for the kind words! Cheers man!!
I know its probably intentional on NuPhy’s part, but I looooove how well the keyboards fit in with the colour minimalism aesthetic of the new iMac. I hate the magic keyboard, and I've been looking for an alternative to it that matches the colour scheme whilst looking like a traditional Apple keyboard. I was thinking you would have to go the custom keyboard route when these popped up. It pinged in a very certain way for me.
I agree!! The original NuPhy boards were directly marketed to MAC OS users and this may be intentionally done in silence to keep with that original audience. I love my NuPhy boards, they’ve all been good. To me each generation has been just enough upgrades to make them feel new as well as they have different feels because they changed the switches, or sound absorption, the mounting, etc.. They’re really good boards overall.
Do you go back and forth between Mac and PC in one sitting, or do you just have them both connected so when you're done on your Mac, you can go to your PC? I ask, because right now I have mine set up to connect to my windows computer and use a KVM switch to have it talk to my Mac when I need it, but it would be nice to not have to use that program.
Hey! Yes, I do got back and forth in the same setting when going from like work, to gaming, etc. So for my Mac I have it connected via the dongle. My PC I use it connected with USB-C for the best connection for gaming. However, you can keep it wireless by having it bluetooth to one, such as the MAC cause we cant really game on that and then use the Dongle for the other. So you would just move the switch on the keyboard versus having to use software :) Hope that helps!
Excellent review brother! You covered all aspects necessary. Just the review I needed before purchasing!
Thank you brother!!! Enjoy it man, this thing is really nice!! And it looks friggin sweet!
