You are saving my sanity! I haven't done Geometry since 1985! This crazy school year has me helping my 9th grader. THANK YOU! If you get tired of teaching math, you could teach handwriting; there's an entire generation who missed out on that skill thanks to the crazy push for more standardized testing. :)
What an awesome compliment Martha! I really appreciate it . . . and I'm with you 100% about the standardized testing. Not a great way to measure analytic or creative thinking.
was very helpful since i have a math exam comng up on monday...and havent studied anything but this video helped me a lot to learn especially because i am studying in portugal and i dont know portugese cuz im new, anyways thank you for this! appreciate a lot!
Vary nice exercise and geobeautiful explained for all to understand. And no any tube teaches done this type of clear explanation. Thank you sir....❤ From which country are u sir...??
i don’t understand for the fractions can i choose any numbers from the triangles like for example when u were trying to find “b” u chose 14/b and b/6… is that a rule or i can just choose any number
Hi your video helped me alott. Thank you so much the way you teach is incredible i never felt so intrested in learning till today. I had a question. When you were writing a similarity statement, why was it ABC similar to BDC And not DCB or CBD or CDB. Same goes for another Thats the only thing i need i am confused i know its been 9 years since you uploaded the video but i am hoping fora reply. ❤
Hi neon, yep, I'm still alive and answering questions when I can :) To answer your very good question ... it's not too complicated. Notice when I labeled the largest triangle, I started at the "top" of the short leg (A) and then moved toward the right angle (B) and finished at C. When naming the other two triangles, follow the same pattern. Start at the top of the short leg (B) and move directly to the right angle (D) and end at C. By following that pattern, all your angles are in a similar place or corresponding place in each triangles. I hope that explanation was helpful!
Yes. Be careful in naming your triangles.Follow the same direction for both, for example triangle ABC is congruent to triangle BDC (follow the direction you are tracing in the triangles).
This helped so much! The neat handwriting, slow demonstration and explanation helped a lot. I study ahead often. Again, Thanks!
Your handwriting is so beautiful omg
thank you Fatima :)
Great voice, penmanship, teaching style, and teaching style. I will watch some of your other videos.
i usually hate watching math videos for school, but this one was oddly soothing and helpful

You're very welcome! I'm from California in the United States.
@@FerranteMath okay sir, nice to here and great help with this type of knowledge sharings...

Good question. You cannot choose any number. You need to find numbers that are in the same place on each triangle for the fraction.
Sir please can you make series for integration.... calculus please ....
Note* Your spelling of pythagorean is wrong,no offense. I still loved the video and how you make it so clear> Subbed and Liked!
oops! thanks ... sometimes I can't write and speak at the same time :)

@@FerranteMath oh i get it so the pattern is to start at the top let and the move to right angle and then after the long leg?
Thank you so much i really had hard time understanding this lesson with your help i could lear it clearly :)
Wow..amazing..thank you
Good job, very clear, would have been nice to keep the problem on the screen but still good job. Thanks.
Thank you Clint. Appreciate the shout out.
very helpful thank you!!!
You're welcome Batya!
thank you
:)
This is great! However, you spelled Pythagorean incorrectly.
@@melvincordova7097 oops! 😊
thanks
you're welcome
thanks. your awesome
+kirill deshkin Thanks Kirill. You're very welcome!
So for ABC ~ BCD, does that make 14 and 8 the projections of side a?
Yes. Be careful in naming your triangles.Follow the same direction for both, for example triangle ABC is congruent to triangle BDC (follow the direction you are tracing in the triangles).
@@FerranteMath thank you so much! My geometry textbook explained this concept so poorly, yours was way more intuitive !!
The handwriting should have its own font
Ha! Thanks Night Walker :)
WHY IS THIS COMING UP RIGHT AFTER I HAD MY GEOMETRY QUIZ DARN-
how is AD 6 and other is 8
habib shah given info
what if it’s not given, how to find it
It's Pythagorean theorem
Yo I finally understand
AWWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
