Physical media is great. Especially when you can download it to a hard drive and Plex server to make it just as accessible as streaming. I hate when great movies are released exclusively on streaming services for this reason.

The next step for the tech disruptors, like the streamers who are now foolishly reverting back to a cable model (because they’re not that smart, just really good at marketing and sales), is to make customer service and cancellation AI-driven. That way you’ll be stuck with your subscriptions forever. They’ll just package it nicely first and maybe throw in a discount for those who sign up.
That said, and my pessimistic outlook on life aside: always fun to see Kevin here, I miss »Slow News Day«, and always delightful to see Katie here.
