I love the big rock I found a mini 1/16 big rock i will say every time I take it out I’m replacing something rear diff on a small jump then on the same exact jump I hit it a lil off and rear arm completely twisted I upgraded to aluminum actually all metal rears bent. I watch all these videos guys 🚀 launching to the moon and no damage I hit 6feet and blame back to the shop. My big rock I’ve had 2months in that span I’ve replaced almost every part
That big rock still got those aftermarket drive shafts? The ones with those weird rings that cushion impacts? Thought I remember you doing that and having an o ring part of it that didn't seem to fit anywhere. I wonder if that's what they are for to sandwich in there and cushion impacts.
I've learned, to my cost, that my K6s breaks at skateparks. I still go, occasionally, but I go in the knowledge it'll be expensive. My favourite spot for it is the golf course - on a week day or early/late on a weekend - when there's few golfers. Stay off the greens and out the bunkers and nobody minds. Big, wide spaces, with soft landings and loads of opportunities for getting air. 👊🏻
I may have figured out the servo issue on Arrma Outcast 4s V2. So I turned those black guards on the front shocks to face away from the drive shaft and now it’s turning almost on a dime. I’ve had mine for about 5 months and the turning radius was always bad. I saw the wear on the drive shaft where those guard were so I just lifted the spring and now have them facing away from the drive shaft and now it’s awesome. I mean that has to be it because I haven’t changed it from stock at all. Let me know if it works for you and if it does just give me a shout out on a video. Bill O’Leary…A Subscriber 🤙🏻
I haven’t a clue how that would work but if it does all the better! When you say face away from the driveshaft, do you mean so the higher mudguard piece on the bottom of the shock is closer or farther from the drive shaft?
It’s the only thing I can think that helped because I haven’t upgraded anything on it. It’s completely bone stock. I just rotated the mud guard so that’s it’s no longer touching the drive shaft. The thing now all of a sudden turns on a dime.@@magnusstone
Part of the fun, part of the hobby. Rip, brake, repair, repeat. ❤❤ Get some new axels and cvd's and carry on! Just film the repair, you know we love it 😂❤❤
old R/C's will last forever.......If maintained properly. I still run my Losi LXT and RC10GT! I see most basher's(not all) never inspect the R/C after running it, they just throw it on a shelf and wait to complain when something breaks ROFL. Most bashers will take their R/C to the hobby shop and ask why the R/C don't work, instead of maintaining it themselves. It is sort of sad to see what this hobby has become, It used to promote mechanical skills now its just a yuppie fest.
Well, to be for real. A breakage from the previous run or from a current run is still a breakage. Arrma just sucks. My Losis and my Traxxas RCs rarely break.
@@SebastianLong All R/C's will break, it can be avoided by doing more then just putting a battery in. Inspect the R/C before throwing it on a self, look at weak points for wear. Parts wear out from use, any guy/gal with a hint of mechanical ability should be able to tell if a part is worn enough to require replacement. And traxxas is no different than Arrma, Cheapest to make but most expensive to buy.
Was Guy visited by the product review fairy? Lol, she might regret it, cuz Guy does “accelerated depreciation” better than anybody on UA-cam. The WOV trucks seem decent, but bring upgrade shocks cause the stock ones are Team Not One Pack!

@rcguygarage Not sure if I smiled more or all the people watching. Need to waterproof my lights better but it surprisingly didn't break after doing snow bank jumps onto sidewalks.
To me it’s all about the smile. When it no longer makes you happy time to trade. I would hate running my trucks knowing they may break. Especially with light driving you did.
Definitely the two things that can end your day..... Done just that. Weather and a breakage you got both, but hey hats off guy to the valad point do you keep buying parts or just another new RC....I'm personally at the point yes fix up what's done and buy a new one and put the old on the shelf and just run now and then. .... Like I've done with my 6s Senton she comes out now and then and I still enjoy the heck out of it.....What concerns me more is the management light on the Big Jag.. 😂
The Outcast didn't sound good when you first started to roll . It must have been broken before you even started maybe . Sorry man ! We have all had days like that .
Most of the parts are really cheap. Every time I break something I buy two of the parts. I’ve got a pretty decent inventory of parts and I’ve been able to repair it on the fly right at the spot the last three times I broke something.
@rcguygarage I can handle it...get this let my buddy distract himself for a bit by bringing a few rc to his house his mom not long for this world well he tried to avoid a curb with the infraction and ripped the steering right off my transmitter, little super glue and a longer screw and it's back together

Was rough to read this with you having issues😳 sometimes you get a 🍋
That big rock still got those aftermarket drive shafts? The ones with those weird rings that cushion impacts? Thought I remember you doing that and having an o ring part of it that didn't seem to fit anywhere. I wonder if that's what they are for to sandwich in there and cushion impacts.
No it's for a different application
I've learned, to my cost, that my K6s breaks at skateparks. I still go, occasionally, but I go in the knowledge it'll be expensive. My favourite spot for it is the golf course - on a week day or early/late on a weekend - when there's few golfers. Stay off the greens and out the bunkers and nobody minds. Big, wide spaces, with soft landings and loads of opportunities for getting air. 👊🏻
Those rear driveshafts will twist like a wet noodle
They can
I may have figured out the servo issue
on Arrma Outcast 4s V2.
Time for a Arrma overhaul.
And what is that A completely new unit 😜👍💯👊
@@rcguygarage 😆👊
Part of the fun, part of the hobby. Rip, brake, repair, repeat. ❤❤
Get some new axels and cvd's and carry on! Just film the repair, you know we love it 😂❤❤
😳😜👍💯
Upgrade one of them and dump the other one for the parts you need for said upgrades… just an idea
old R/C's will last forever.......If maintained properly.
Could not agree more…. Hot take, but rc’s need to be kits again. Save us money too.
That's just called life to some. Some use life in different ways for sure.
Hey if I live in a filtered bubble I will never get sick LOL
Was Guy visited by the product review fairy? Lol, she might regret it, cuz Guy does “accelerated depreciation” better than anybody on UA-cam. The WOV trucks seem decent, but bring upgrade shocks cause the stock ones are Team Not One Pack!
I'm going to talk to text this answer or response You literally have me actually laughing guy in the middle of your stinking comment you say accelerated depreciation I absolutely love this. Oh my God guy I am literally laughing I can't get my sentences out 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
The new series Accelerated Depreciation episode 1
Thanks Guy.....
I get it. Eventually it becomes time for a big rebuild and you dump alot of money into it n like you said you could get another car. The struggle is real
Exactly👍💯
You can send me the ouchcast 😂 so I can finally finish my build. I'm heading out around my little city with my neon TLR typhon and a backpack of spare parts. One day I should get a camera and record my city bashing.
You should👍💯👊 some might want to see the city life from an RC's perspective.
@rcguygarage Not sure if I smiled more or all the people watching. Need to waterproof my lights better but it surprisingly didn't break after doing snow bank jumps onto sidewalks.
So what are you going to buy that's not going to break when you smash it on concrete?
A sledge HAMMAH
To me it’s all about the smile. When it no longer makes you happy time to trade. I would hate running my trucks knowing they may break. Especially with light driving you did.
Never have and never will have any desire to ever own anything that comes in an arrma box. Tekno. Done.
For some it's good to limit yourself for others not so much 👍💯
do you ever run at the BMX track across from the skate park?
Unfortunately not allowed. 👍
Hey guys thanking our old school dig rocks 😁 all right 👍 you are macking good big rock tank you guy garage 👍👍💯😎
👍💯👊
Take the Kagama!
Lmao! Rain drops are falling… no way bro!! To funny
Yep, my bigrock is at the retirement homes door 😂
😳🤣😂🤣😂 I like this one
I'm actually excited about the Rlaarlo Omni Terminator. I'm hoping it's the upsized Chinese car that just keeps running.
Nice
Question ima get a big rock 6s or Talion 6s with a Power hobby 6s 5200mAh 100c is that good or 2 power hobby 3s 75c 5200mAh
You can only run them for so long after a certain time they nickel and dime you. I remembered you made a video on that.
👍💯👊
Definitely the two things that can end your day..... Done just that. Weather and a breakage you got both, but hey hats off guy to the valad point do you keep buying parts or just another new RC....I'm personally at the point yes fix up what's done and buy a new one and put the old on the shelf and just run now and then. .... Like I've done with my 6s Senton she comes out now and then and I still enjoy the heck out of it.....What concerns me more is the management light on the Big Jag.. 😂
Evap solenoid and driver side front wheel speed sensor 👍💯😜
The Outcast didn't sound good when you first started to roll . It must have been broken before you even started maybe . Sorry man ! We have all had days like that .
Most of the parts are really cheap. Every time I break something I buy two of the parts. I’ve got a pretty decent inventory of parts and I’ve been able to repair it on the fly right at the spot the last three times I broke something.
👍💯
I'll give them a good home
You don't want that kind of disaster entering into your life😂🤣
@rcguygarage I can handle it...get this let my buddy distract himself for a bit by bringing a few rc to his house his mom not long for this world well he tried to avoid a curb with the infraction and ripped the steering right off my transmitter, little super glue and a longer screw and it's back together
If you love it, feed it! If ya tired, go take a nap.
i swear guy. my big rock is always broken too
It happens👍 still fun though
Boom🎉
Damn it Guy, I can’t get that song out of my head!
Raindrops keep falling on My Head 😂🤣😂🤣
Cut'em loose.....spend your money on something new.....run, break, repair is great......but when its come to go 20', broke, repair.....repair.....repair....that's not fun....😎👍
I like your line of thinking on this one 😂🤣👍💯
You are certainly ambitious with your batteries!!
I'm a little bit CHERNOBYL-ESK
It was a beautiful drive!
That's a bad day of RC cars right there!
But. Rain is better than snow anyday!!
Snow is amazing fun with RC what are you talking about
@@CptAngelKGaming no thanks. Did snow for 55 years in Cohasset MA.
Moved to Florida in 2006!!
You can enjoy it for both of us!!
I’ll take the pain and suffering outcast from you lol. Just saying, it’d be in good hands for sure. (If I posted twice sorry. Tried editing original and can’t find it now)
Too many "high dollar" offers coming in to decide what to do😳🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
@@rcguygarage I hope to see it fixed. Like your videos and who doesn’t like repair videos! Bash break repeat is the motto right 😂
I spend more time fixing my big rock 6s than i do running it
Great vid man your my go to UA-camr for rc content. Your videos never disappoint ! What primary rcs did u run before the armas ? And you should run your dbxle 2.0 that would make for a sick vid
Team Associated Kyosho Redcat Traxxas oh and can't forget Tyco and radio shack😜
Good vibes and videos
always bring tools and spares
Arrma Tough baby!
Chernobyl 😂
Gotta show some love for mother Russia
