Daddy Magic for color commentator of the year! That kids line put the perfect punctuation on the entire intro of the story. Okada/Omega 4 is going to be FIRE and that line is going to be part of the video package.
Gotta be honest here. AEW nailed it with this shit. All of this since the infamous video has just been great!!! The bucks are killing it as heels. They NEED TO DRAG THIS OUT!!! Long term storytelling. It’s the best angel they’ve had yet. People hating will never change. If they don’t have something to shit on they’re not happy. Gotta ignore those losers and just focus on your company.
The "Step Up" has got to be MOXLEY right?!? IWGP Champ for NJPW, for AEW Champ, multi time! Had a feud with Omega. Ties together nicely til Omega returns full time imo.
yes, i would have bryan join the elite, then have mox, ospreay join up with omega, and ftr. then have bryan and okada challenge mox for the iwgp title. run back the bryan/ospreay, bryan/omega, omega/okada, and ospreay/okada matches
If AEW can keep delivering shows like Dynamite and Rampage yesterday then they'll be just fine.
If they do they will be worse off. Outside of Christian. The show was filler.. raise your standards or the ratings will just keep dropping

We don't even know if kenny is gonna be able to come back honestly. The elite are beefing with tony khan and kenny ? 2 people that can't wrestle or won't. . So yes filler
@@SasukesSharingan. He doesn't have to wrestle. He said that he also is an EVP and that will cause a power struggle in the company. That in itself is a storyline being developed I don't see how that can be a filler. As EVP, Kenny can easily recruit people to fight on his behalf until he gets medically cleared officially (they already hinted that FTR will be on Kenny's side). There is literally a ton of things that can be done from this moment forward.

Diverticulitis is an inflammatory issue with the intestine where the pouches become inflamed. This is why, for example, they say not to eat seeds because they could get caught in these pouches and causes all sorts of problems including massive infection which could easily lead to partial intestine removal, or worse.
I spent 20 years suffering through surgeries with the gut, and was thought to have diverticulitis… I had much worse, but the point is this… it’s no joke… however, if you eat right and figure out the inflammation, you could overcome!

Tommy understands very well the major, literally life changing things you must to, not just live a comfortable life, but to live.
Guys, please don’t hate on Tommy on this… if you’ve never experienced anything like this, or know someone who has, give what he says the benefit of the doubt I regards to gut illnesses and injuries. They took 20 years of my life away and I still struggle every da*n day.
Also… AEW is just over 5 years old… if you stopped watching years ago, you’ve missed the entire history and growth of the company. It’s finally finding its groove, imo, so please give this insanely young company a chance. Don’t like TK? Fine. Don’t like certain wrestlers? Fine… but so much talent, so many great matches (and yes, quite a few stinkers in the past), but the company is just starting to grow NOW.

Agreed with Tommy I remember Velocity, Matt Hardy would wrestle every week and do a 15 min match and that was the Main event.

Tommy Dreamer's comment about health, reminded me of legendary ECW pro wrestler and AEW commentator, Taz, who will not go under the knife, for his bad knees and shoulders; after seeing an orthopedic doctor. I would like to see Excalibur vs. Luchasaurus against two regular AEW talent: mainly Luchadores. The (EVP "pricks") Young Bucks/(Kazuchika) Okada, the "Rainmaker" (the "Authority" figure heads or the "Corporate Ministry (with the Undertaker)", like the entire McMahon family running (Monday night) RAW; the "Network" (for ECW on TNN: Don Callis aka "Cyrus the Virus") or the nWo (mainly the Outsiders and "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, taking over WCW) = "let's change the world" or "make pro wrestling great again") vs. FTR/Kenny Omega = this is what should have happened last week (with TK (Tony Khan) in Kenny's place). Jim Cornette's nickname for Okada was "Ocody," as in Cody Rhodes. I like when commentators reacted like it's real, especially Jim Ross' take against many wrestlers, in the ring or outside of the ring: "You jezebel (Stephanie McMahon); you SOB (Triple H); those damn Dudleys (the Dudley Boys) !"
Rampage has alot of value. Christian cage beat Jen omega for the impact title on the first episode, CM Punk's debut on Rampage went crazy, I'm sure there are some other things that were really dope too.

Who's the face in this storyline with the elite? can any one tell me? This could work if there was a face and its NOT kenny not until he's fully healed.
Which will be for a while. So the only face they have or could have go up against the elite is in the WWE bunch of geniuses
A face doesn’t have to be medically cleared to wrestle in order to be an effective face. As long as he’s on tv weekly to combat the scumbag heels, a story can be sold.
And the fact the he can’t wrestle yet can help to garner more sympathy and build up to when that 1st match can take place.

@@tness93 Respectfully, I feel like Kenny isn’t that far from being fully healed.
Obviously he doesn’t give a snap dragon suplex, take a shot to the stomach, and then get pushed off a gurney onto cement if there’s any doubts about his recovery or worries of his diverticulitis.
If he asks for 2-3 months to return against Okada, then that’s plenty of time to tell a long-term story building to that match.
Three months is Wembley btw.
@scottcoggins941 Truthfully, I hope so too the disease he has is no joke and you don't just recover from that it takes sometimes months and give aew's track record of letting people like brain Danielson wrestle hurt and impaired for months talking omega into a angle is not beneath them

I'm a WWE guy and really stopped paying attention to AEW after MJF took leave of absence. But now this Elite angle, Swerve and Ospreay have gotten me back into Dynamite. Let's hope Tony doesn't;t mess it up and just let's these guys fly.

All the, “AEW can’t tell a story stuff”, imo, will soon be a thing of the past… hopefully! The Bucks did tell long stories on BTE, especially with the countdown to the start of AEW, so they get it, it’s just putting it into practice in a wrestling show with multiple wrestlers, angles and stories.
I think it was Thunder Rosa on Busted Open that said, yes, we have storylines that go from a few weeks, to 6 months to a year… let’s hope things really start getting exciting on that end. A Great year long storyline would be awesome to see from them. 🙏

Na I admit everything Kenny did was fantastic. He used wrestling psychology. Everything else surrounding him was crap…its hard to get into it when the guys attacking are 4 out shape nerds

Why can't we get this Kenny Omega on the mic every time? Before this promo, I hated him on the mic.
Dreamer if they dont fill us in about the matches between Okada and Kenny and with the casual fans(more importantly) to actually grow the story and their business, then all the crap between them is pointless garbage and no one cares.
Now they did a good job set it up be by mentioning it to pick peoples interest but now they need to do a deep dive to get everyone ip to speed on all of it.
Dont just give me a headline give us the full story. Which AEW has a problem with the expect us to know all this New Japan crap and other history that was in the independent wrestling companies and 90% of us just dont we was watching either WWE or NO wrestling at all.
Tommy is very diplomatic. That angle still hasn't moved the needle. Bucks and perry have go away heat. I gave up on AEW years ago and seeing all this i still wont come back

Kenny shouldn't joke around pretending that was a risk for him, if it was real there's no way he'd be doing anything physical. Knowing family who has had a colostomy bag, it's such a life altering experience along the lines as fighting cancer. To be using that for a storyline is morally gross as heck and insulting as all hell for those living with it
