I'm getting a DA phantom triple I think its 10 or 12 tubes does a kilowatt with ease is what I know. It's getting new tubes and sockets because the f6 or q6 tubes are very spendy! Can't wait for it to be done! 73s and happy 4th, 533!
I had a Phantom that the transmitter for a Tow company for most of it's life but I never used it. Sold it during Covid. I also had a Maverick 250 and it was a beast. it would run between 600 and 800 all day long. Good times. I know you can't wait. ✌✌
@@UDX-21 I will get back when I talk to my tech. I can't remember. What I do know is they weren't near as expensive but supposed to do same output. The sockets were pretty cheap also. I'll get back in day or 2!
@@tedneitzel No rush, I have at least 4 of the Phantoms, and have heard of a conversion, but it was a while back and I don't remember the tube number. Catch you in DX sometime--- 73
Crazy huh? Back in the late 90's I had a desk that was built similar to my bench but much smaller but it did the job. This video was only a few months after I returned to radio and was using what I had left besides the Ranger, I had just gotten it for my birthday.✌✌
@@SVerucci I had been collecting oak scrap from a stair tread company and was going to build a deck and then a riser to go on it and when I saw this bench already made almost exactly the way I wanted I decided this was the way to go. $30 and the only labor was moving it. ✌✌
