Id love to see a version of this that includes everything you need to simply add a Sig serialized Fire Control Unit to in order to create a working semi-auto folding PDW that doesn’t need a form 4473 or NICS check. A modern day Boom Box...
Thats pretty much what it is already. Take your p320 needed bits and drop it into the chassis and your done. The only 4473 you 'need' to fill out is for the fcg of the sig. Mind you even that can be legally gotten around by buying second hand.
You'd need to mail $200 and your fingerprints directly to the ATF for a federal background check and wait a year and a half to get approved to own this, and that's if you don't have to get extra approval from your local police chief or state to begin with.
@@hornmonk3zit Yeah, it's cool but I'm not going to get one if it must be SBR'd. I just cant see treating a pistol cartridge firing weapon as a Short Barreled RIFLE just because you can shoulder it - sort of. I still think the drop-in 320 FCU is a slick concept though.

Great video it’s amazing how James gets to interview these huge figures in the industry. If these get released they will definitely be worth the money since it’s all aluminum not polymer plus the Acro would be the best combo the price is high but would definitely be an investment piece later down the road. Also would it be able to seat the mag if they chose another mag design like the Glock or the Beretta APX line if they keep FCU idea? 🤔
I bought a ghm9 a couple years back and absolutely love it, high quality stuff. I just seen this video last night and had to pre order one since this is one of the devices dreams are made of.
Magpul and ZEV Technologies really took their sweet time getting their gun to market, this’ll sure light that fire under their ass. The fact you have to form 1 this in to an SBR while I can get a cheap Gen 3 Glock clone dagger, throw it in a fully kitted 20/20 brace and it’s still a pistol. I can pretty easily take the Glock back out while still having just a pistol. If they found a way to have a braced version it would sell waaaaay more. Firearm laws in the USA are beyond retarded, if the NFA finally gets abolished like it should maybe we could see people easily buying this without having to pay another $200 for a tax stamp and going through the legal loopholes.
I don't think the BWC stands for Because We Can James, I believe they fooled you...They named it in your honor, they saw those shorts and they knew exactly what to name it ;)
@John Smith How is that cringe? It's called respecting and appreciating. Perhaps you don't have a good enough junk for others to appreciate but James does.
It’s a cool concept; it definitely has the fidget factor; but are we all really that bad at just shooting a handgun as is? If I’m not getting more energy down range, you can keep the control-ability in exchange for the weight savings/conceal-ability. Is it still awesome? Absolutely. That said, I prefer the looks of the magpul design.
It’s not impractical at all. For places where carrying a slung rifle would be disruptive, this would be perfect. More accuracy since it has a shoulder stock. Discreet carry of a longer range gun. Truck gun. Backpack gun. Bugout/get home gun that is easy to carry without drawing lots of attention.
I love when companies innovate, but no one is going to beat the legendary MP5k operational suitcase in style factor. H&K is looking at this and probably thinking “wait, you can’t sell the coolest stuff to civilians!”
I'd bet you never fired the HK case though. I had the pleasure of shooting with it when I was young. Hitting the target was a different story. It was also no fun transporting the fully loaded gun in the case and the trigger unprotected on the case handle. Transport in the car was also a question, because the trigger was openly accessible. Understood, the idea behind it was interesting, the practical use? The cases that we were able to test had already been in the arsenal for 10 years without anyone really having the need to take them with them when they were deployed.
@@ricoblaser6308 I see. The form factor of the MP5K Briefcase shoot through means that sighting and target acquisition is compromised - so suppressive / cover fire situations only?
I love B&T, one of the most innovative gun manufacturers out there. They fixed the Swill Sig 552 and turned it into the wonderful 553. Hide the ACRO better, it gives it away. Keep up the good work! And where are the parts for the BT 15? Come on guys!
This thing reminds me of a toy I had when I was a kid in the early 1970s when James Bond and other spy films were popular. It was a toy gun that folded up to look like a transistor radio of the time. The only difference is the barrel would retract into the radio when closed and pop out once you unfolded the gun.
From seeing you fold the unit, I think the mag has to be released in order for the trigger to use that space as it closes. That is why the magazine cannot remain clipped, i.e., it would not leave any space for the trigger to inter and thus close the suitcase design. Lovely thing.
I love that B&T is picking up more "sub guns", it was already cool they picked up manufacturing for the MP9 but now we have the FNG-9 which is even more unicorn
I think a lot of people would buy it WITHOUT taking the trouble to "form 1" it -- just to have, and also with the (likely) possibility that SBRs won't be regulated in the future.
The duel wield version in MW3 was OP as hell!! Didnt know it was only a concept gun though thought you could actually get one if you wanted. Hopefully this model goes into production.

Thats pretty much what it is already. Take your p320 needed bits and drop it into the chassis and your done. The only 4473 you 'need' to fill out is for the fcg of the sig. Mind you even that can be legally gotten around by buying second hand.
@@high633 or building your own 80 perc P320 fcu...oh wait😐
You'd need to mail $200 and your fingerprints directly to the ATF for a federal background check and wait a year and a half to get approved to own this, and that's if you don't have to get extra approval from your local police chief or state to begin with.
@@hornmonk3zit Yeah, it's cool but I'm not going to get one if it must be SBR'd.
I just cant see treating a pistol cartridge firing weapon as a Short Barreled RIFLE just because you can shoulder it - sort of.
I still think the drop-in 320 FCU is a slick concept though.
@@hornmonk3zit lool, still mailing in checks to the ATF huh? I don't think I've talked to anyone who did e-file on a form 1 that took more than maybe 2 months.
I actually love the fact that you have to slap the magazine in. It seems so satisfying everytime.
I was hyped for a second there. So many chassis kits out there.
If B&T can get around having to seat the magazine upon deployment, as well as having the BWC be able to use the new Sig 30 rounders, this would basically be the "we have an FMG-9 at home" meme but in reverse
I honestly can’t think of a better manufacturer to bring this to market! I’d buy one this second, especially at that price target. Great job!
I don't have a 320 but if this comes up for sale I'd buy both and go form 1.
No wonder I can't get my b&t usw-g chassis after months, they've been focused on other things.
Dude writing on the menu and showing he's an engineer and not just a salesman is awesome, makes me like B&T even more.
Yeah, I'm down for two of those kits right now! They need to have a contest to see who can decorate one of the BWCs to look most inconspicuous.
Easy... a bluetooth speaker! ;)
FMG-9's successor 👏👏👏
The tap to seat the mag, function wish... Nah.
How cool you got to talk to THE MAN himself. As always, great segment. Filling out the Form 1 now....
I bought a ghm9 a couple years back and absolutely love it, high quality stuff. I just seen this video last night and had to pre order one since this is one of the devices dreams are made of.
This was great! As an entrepreneur, it always feels awesome when a project takes off like this.
Doesn’t interest me, but I applaud the continued development of any firearm platform.
My compromise would be if they just reopened the registry for everything, it would simplify a lot of the stupidity.
There should never have been a registry to begin with.
@@MandoWookie no compromise, no infringements, all gun laws are tyranny
War with civvies thru redtape/logistics. If anyone can out-gun the ruling party for cheap... Ho hum...
I agree on the 20/20 brace, but I don’t really think magpul and zev can top the modularity of the P320 fcu at this point unless maybe it’s a zev fcu
Enjoying this offering with my big white clock thinking it’s about time we see something like this out of Switzerland!
That is the coolest kit I have ever seen. That would be perfect for s personal security detail.
I don't think the BWC stands for Because We Can James, I believe they fooled you...They named it in your honor, they saw those shorts and they knew exactly what to name it ;)
AYYYOOOO
@John Smith How is that cringe? It's called respecting and appreciating. Perhaps you don't have a good enough junk for others to appreciate but James does.
His name is John Smith, yours is Hunter Fabio. Enough said.
Yup, you beat me to it. James knows it’s BWC and I accidentally clicked on the wrong channel!
James hinting them to bring it to the US market like we all don't know he has a form 1 320 fcg already 😂
I want one of these so much, this is genuinely one of my dream guns to own.
They finally made it!! The tactical lunchbox of my dreams is here!
i don't like the more sloped "stock" i kinda preferred the fmg-9's straight blocky look when unfolded
I also prefer the box look but the raked design helps with a super low optic mount. It's better.
I was gonna mention how the sloped stock low sights. The fmg9 had a straight stock but higher sights due to the flashlight they added above the barrel
I thought the same thing at first but then saw the advantage of the angle when James shoulder fired it
So silly and impractical but the 'cool' factor is 10/10
It’s not impractical at all.
They’ve never really cared about the civilian sector. Takes them decades to get us stuff and still no mp7 and other goodies they keep for themselves.
The russian krinkov briefcase already beats the hk one. It drops the briefcase so you can fire the gun normally giving one far more control.
@@ricoblaser6308 shoot-ability and safety are sacrifices to be made in order to look stylish.
There’s a lot of collectors and they would love to get their hands on the firearm. And the public as well
I just absolutely cannot wait.
Hopefully they make it in more calibers
It takes your sigs barrel and slide so if it works on an FCU it works on this.
10mm though? 5.7 would be good at least.
@@nelsoj11 the FCU wont accept 5.7 so no 5.7
@@ShadySummerZ dang.
I love B&T, one of the most innovative gun manufacturers out there. They fixed the Swill Sig 552 and turned it into the wonderful 553. Hide the ACRO better, it gives it away. Keep up the good work! And where are the parts for the BT 15? Come on guys!
09:14 "It doesn't look like a gun."
It looks like one of the coolest gun ever made!
I love seeing innovation like this. I have no use for this whatsoever, but it’s cool as hell.
This thing reminds me of a toy I had when I was a kid in the early 1970s when James Bond and other spy films were popular. It was a toy gun that folded up to look like a transistor radio of the time. The only difference is the barrel would retract into the radio when closed and pop out once you unfolded the gun.
One of my playmates had one of them. It was pretty cool. He also had the Man from Uncle guns.
I’m about to buy a p320 and sbr it just for this in preparation. I will definitely buy one if it becomes available.
I want one. I will work overtime to buy one. The name rocks!!!!
Been waiting for someone to go into production on a system like this..! Totally want at least two just for me..!
That intro music was spot on!
In a heartbeat I would buy this!
From seeing you fold the unit, I think the mag has to be released in order for the trigger to use that space as it closes. That is why the magazine cannot remain clipped, i.e., it would not leave any space for the trigger to inter and thus close the suitcase design. Lovely thing.
Bring it to market. It will definitely sell!!!
Looking forward to the BWC-FJB!
I like the theme behind the weapon.
It's definitely an expensive conversation piece to use at the range filled with ARs and wonder nines
B&T is an incredible company.
Great video James! I would definitely pick up a couple. 👍🏼
So happy I form 1ed a 320 years ago. Seems like there is a new, cool chassis every year.
40 years ago this would have looked like a radio and been awesome.
What a beautiful take on the Magpul FMG. The fact that it’s made entirely out of aluminum instead of polymer is amazing, and I’d happily buy one if it came to the states. Who do I need to tell to shut up and take my money?
Saw this at the NRA Convention. Super dope idea. Glad I got to see it.
Seems excellent for personal protection experts, bodyguards and such.
It's amazing. To someone that knows guns, that's obviously one when folded BUT, it's fantastic. That'd be perfect for your ride. Throw it under the seat and it'll keep your gun cleaner too. Very cool!!
Where's the Bluetooth accessories to drop beats 😙😅😂
