Tuyet had a powerful artifact called the Nui Stone that she wanted to use to wipe out evil forces and rule the universe. She was defeated by Lhikan and Nidhiki before being sent to the pit. There is an alternate universe where her plan succeeded and the universe was ruled by a very authoritarian Toa Empire, hence The Tyrant. I believe the crystals are meant to represent the Nui Stone. When she was defeated the stone exploded and shards of it embedded themselves in her armor, which is why she has bits of crystals on her body. I think the MoC is calm yet has an unsettling vibe, which fits her acting kind and gentle while hiding her sinister nature.
My team builds all show how different my building styles change throughout my years of mocing from my Toa of Fire being a simple Ignika Builds to my Toa of Water custom torso and limbs
Of the 11 Toa Mangai, only four have canon names. Lhikan, Nidikhi, Tuyet, and Naho. Tuyet and Naho are both water toa. There were also four toa of ice that helped defeat the Kanohi Dragon. There was also a Toa of Stone, Earth, and Plantlife. The term "Mangai" is the Matoran word for protector. The volcano on the Island of Mata Nui was named after them. Naho bay was also named after Toa Naho. - Tuyet is pronounced Too-yet. Greg Farshtey's story _Darm Mirror_ podcasts pronounced it that way. - Toa Naho is female, as are all canon water Toa, though the design here doesn't indicate that.
I literally can’t make Mocs because my neighbor stole most of my bionic legs parts before we moved to another state. I honestly wish I didn’t let him build with me. Mostly all of my old and new generation parts are gone
So happy (& surprised) that you thought my guys were up to scratch enough to showcase! Thanks so much! If anyone wants more info on them, the Imgur post has some little lore bits.
Personally, if I was to make my own toa team, I'd probably take the approach of having each toa be an almost recoloured clone of the last one. I love the idea of a team in uniform. They don't all look exactly the same, because each person has a different body build, but also because each person treats their uniform differently. Some might have a lot of respect for it, and keep it clean. Others might do the bare minimum work to manage it, so it looks very unprofessional. I think a great way to achieve that is to have a few key pieces that appear across each of the toa, and to have similar structures across the team, and then vary that with different limb lengths, shoulder/hip widths, and that sort of stuff. Of course, each toa would have their own unique mask and gear, and a different approach to the colour scheme. I think there's a ton of potential to giving each toa their own personality without varying the builds too much, especially when you take into account the posing of them. A strong leader would likely stand tall and proud, while a cowardly traitor might be hunched, and try to hide themselves.
"Do you want a 7hr BIS episode?" ...... Why not? :D In all seriousness, I do like the occasional longer episodes, that either cover lots of different MOC's or the ones that cover only a few MOC's but go into detail with them. The Toa Teams that I've made typically have one or two unifying features, whether its a similar build to each of them, or a similar weapon that they all share.
I'm only slightly totally wounded and betrayed that my Tiny Toa were not included... www.flickr.com/photos/mclegoboy/48304012831 But I do need to actually get the parts to make Lewa and Pohatu and maybe buy some parts so I don't have to steal anything from sets to keep them together. The Toa Mangai collab was crazy. One of the things I thought of with Nidhiki was that he had Loki's horns from Marvel, hinting that he could be a bit more mischievous and become an ally just as easily as become an enemy.
I'm in favor of the seven hour episode! I'm also curious where one can find a list of canon Toa elements? I really like the idea of doing a more obscure Toa team.
Ben Cossy I created a team of 9 heroes with different personalities which have the ability to combine into a much larger robot. I borrowed the frame from another you-tuber and the armour was my design. I just don’t know what to name the individual characters... yet.
Any chance you'd do toa teams again at some point? I have a team of 7 (and 6 of them in matoran form) I am quite proud of that I would like to showcase here once I'm able to bricklink their hand parts.
I love your vids but i love Bionicle i have 45 of them but i don't think that i have a toa team but is it ok if i make a real Bionicle but it is real but not a person in the show and toy but i will send them um how about November 31 ??? I am not done with them like 12 so yea love your vids bye

kokoro daki so like G2 wave one then? They all had a very similar aesthetic, while maintaining different silhouettes.
@@ArmegeddonCraft Maybe. The only G2 sets I got were uniters, never had any masters, so I'm not too familiar with them
kokoro daki The Toa masters were really cool.
