Every empty chair represents the currency that bought us our freedoms, people need to remember this and those of us who understand have a duty to educate the younger generation that freedom is not free.
Laura thank you so much for this request and as always Don for your touching and heartfelt response.
God Bless our Armed Forces and God Bless the U.S.A., Canada, the U.K., Australia and all free nations!
Absolutely Cliff. Thanks
Amen Clifford 🙏🏻
It's a very special and emotional song. It brings Pride to everyone in America and our allies.
This one made me cry. I have two friends lost in VN and one uncle lost in Korea. Every year I would go to wall in DC and let them know they were not forgotten. Then they built the Korea memorial and it is so beautiful but sadly I doubt I'll go back in the future. My brother was drafted for VNam and came back a stranger. PTSD is so destructive and I often wonder why we send young innocent people, who have no concept, of what war really means. I also had an adopted daddy who fought in the Z forces in World War 11. Aussie dad, who was proud of his service but would not much about it. Except to tell me an occasional funny story. Look up the Z Force Australia. It's important part of history that very few knew or know about.PLEASE you'll be shocked.
Franni I God Bless you and keep you!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your family who served!
I have mentioned here before that I watched my little boy go to Afghanistan in 2011 and come back a totally different person.
He as well does not talk about the most of it but from time to time will open up a bit. He just needs me to listen, no comments, no judgement just listen.
God Bless all our forces!
Am I the only one that said thank you as they showed each name? Whenthey showed the American flag at the end, I had to place my hand over my heart as the tears flowed.
Sandy you are definitely not alone…
God Bless you and yours!!
@@cliffordbarnes1631 Thank you ...May God Bless you and yours.
I stand behind our troops here in the United States
I know you have reacted to Ray Stevens. With the way the world is today, could you react to Aaron Tippin and Ray Stevens doing “You’ve Got To Stand For Something”?

This song speaks a lots to me, I've had alot of fallen brothers, an brothers that came back an will never b the same!! Simper fi!!
This is common to most countries soldiers they are not respected at home most people never experience directly the horrors that they depend on the very soldiers they don't respect provide.
America needs guys like Don
Beautiful tribute
Thanks for your comments and love, hope you won't stop liking my aspirations?
Trace pulls the heart strings in a lot of his song.
I've waited for you to watch this one. I'm on lunch break in Hospital I work at tears running down my cheeks. Semper Fi Brother
God Bless you Steve!
His voice bring so much to these songs It kicks you right in the gut. Total respect for those he sings about.
Love Trace Adkins my favorite song of his Arlington. How was your family’s visit?
Thank you for helping those with PTSD. My son-in-law served 3 tours of duty, and suffers terribly. One night, I was spending the night, a car back-fired, (or maybe an idiot was just shooting a gun) and he snapped into "nightmare mode", as my daughter calls it. He is a BIG man, and she is teeny tiny, and he almost killed her that night, before he "broke free". People have NO IDEA how hard it can be!! (Yes, I freaked at the marks on her neck, and the screams (his) in the night, but I was torn between them and the babies.) PTSD is hard on everyone. Thank you for helping. P.S. He's doing so much better now, thank you.
It's truly horrific. Delighted to hear he is doing better
God Bless him and please thank him for his service! Also may God Bless you for being there for him.
You are both in my prayers!
The message of thissong is so strong. A friend of India that we served together with died, it was like loosing a brother.
Thank you for reacting to these patriotic songs and for your service too. We need these songs in America, now more than ever, and you are helping by highlighting them.
Thank you for explaining your t-shirt too. It is such a sad reality for many of our soldiers and their families.
@@hollyhock3945 May God Bless you and yours Hollyhock, we do need the Donfather as he is more clued in than most Americans!
@@cliffordbarnes1631 thank you and may God bless you and yours as well. My dad was in the Army and retired from the Army Reserves and a civil service job for Army. I had 3 uncles that served in the Army and Marines during the Vietnam era. Praise the Lord I was raised by a patriotic family and was taught why we are patriotic. It is so sad the state our country is in and heading. You are absolutely correct that the Donfather is way more in tune with what America patriotism and why we are patriots than most Americans these days. Thank you for your patriotism and comment. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🙏🙏
God bless all those who give their lives for the rest of us to live free....🇺🇸
And may God Bless you my friend Renee!
We love you Don Father for your love and respect for America and our armed forces!

I love your shirt... I only have a small group, but I am a REALTOR that is working towards specializing in military relocation and veteran home buyers and I honor 22 Tuesday and RED Friday, doing my part to draw attention to the need to support our soldiers and veterans. I've said thank you to you before for your service, I can only say it again, and never enough... Thank you!
Thank you very much for your hard work Olivia and your kind words

Have you heard the Statler Brothers
~More Than A Name On A Wall~?
The best video is by Mr.Spazzy.
I don't remember, not knowing this song.
But, now when I listen to it, I picture my boy...
Love your reactions and input! A song and video that really pulls at the awareness heartstrings with our vets is five finger death punch’s wrong side of heaven...please check it out
I did 22 push ups for 22 days as an “internet challenge” a few years ago. It would be really cool if you continued this. Would be a huge continuation of the 22
OIF vet here, we left 3 of my team behind in the deserts of Iraq, those of those that are still left get together once a year and have a dinner where there are 3 seats left at the table and we pay our respects to our battle buddies that gave it all over there. Just know my friends we are keeping up the fight and when its time ill gladly join by your side in heaven.
Thanks Don ! I've never heard this song before , and the line where Trace says that they were soldiers before they were men hit me . I enlisted into the US Navy at the age of eighteen . My first ship was only about three hours drive from my hometown . The first time my family came aboard and met the ship's crew they were amazed . My aunt Sharon told everyone back home that our country is defended by children with some adult supervision .
💛
Perfect.
Have you had time to watch & listen to The Oak Ridge Boys song “The Baptism Of Jesse Taylor”.
Not yet
On the topic of PTSD you need to look at the following songs. "Still ain't make it home" & "A soldier's Memoir"
Still in Saigon by Charlie Daniels Band too .
I could not watch this all the way thru...
Remembering ALL of the fallen is so important. Their sacrifice should never be forgotten. I didn't know what the 22 on your merchandise meant until now; thanks for sharing! #VeteransBattleStillRages
No words. Trace doesn't mouth the respect word. Have a story but not about military specific.
We Americans have our deep-rooted problems, but we are very patriotic. That speaks volumes. 💕
I've never heard this song. Thank you for reacting to it.
