Honestly, there are lots of great candidates, including the ones you've mentioned. Astronomers including Dr. Batalha already have plans to explore some of them, like the TRAPPIST planets, so we'll see how those explorations go starting in about 6 months from now!
after seeing these interview i am wondering that if i get into astrobilogy or astronomy, do i need luck more than actual work, i mean its a luck shot if you got selected then only you can move forward, so is it worth it? BTW i am really interested in astronomy.
