I have a 2019 black 370Z 6MT sport coupe that I bought new and had polished and coated. About a year ago I had a Stillen G3 long-tube CAI, a Fast Intentions dual X-pipe CBe and a dyno tune done on Ecutek software on a Dynojet chassis dyno. The stock peak rwhp went from 280, to 301 after the hardware mods and finally to 321 after 6 pulls on the dyno with the A/F ratios and ignition timing optimized using 94 octane gas. Torque increased about 15% uniformly over the whole rev range and I estimate that I'm putting out about 381 peak hp at the crank at 7200 rpm. Additional mods include gloss black Litespeed Racing forged magnesium monoblock wheels that are about 9 lbs lighter than the OEM Ray's Engineering forged aluminum wheels. My anti-roll bars have been upgraded to stiffer Hotchkis bars for flatter cornering and better steering response. My engine's increased torque has ruptured the fluid-filled rubber rear differential to subframe bushing, that I'm going to replace with a stiffer and stronger polyurethane one.
I don't know why after saving the video or perhaps during upload it appears the whole video almost has a filter on it. I am using CapCut on my Windows 10 pc. Got the resolution and frame rate down, but not sure what happened to its more natural look. Also not sure why I was also having "media lost" issues, its like the footage I uploaded would only be able to stay usable for like 12-24 hours tops before getting corrupted. Lastly, had some text overlay during the video that didn't make it either. Learning everyday!
I had a 2019 base 370 and wasn’t crazy about the clutch either or grinding from 1st to 2nd gear, also I found the car to be a bit rubbery overall in stock form. Do you have grinding issue from first to second? I’m looking to pick up a 2011 Nismo too but I’m not sure if it will have this issue. Great video btw, the car looks awesome
Thankyou man! My only small issue is that it does grind into 5th a little unless you baby it or like under WOT it goes in fine surprisingly lol. I'm actually going to make a 370z buyers guide video next so stay tuned!
So many people regurgitate the "bad blind spots" nonsense. Just adjust and use your mirrors properly and it's not an issue.
I miss my OEM clutch yes it is trash! But I love how the OEM one is so light and more daily driving capability 😭
