I absolutely love my own 370Z which is only a Sport Touring Coupe but still one of the most fun and exciting cars to drive that I have ever owned in my 45+ years of driving automobiles. I have had other high performance cars and muscle cars in the past and my 370Z is still one of my all time favorites, even to this day. One of the best "bangs for your buck" out there. They are relatively cheap to maintain too compared to all the cars available today, especially in the sports car category. I have always done every required or recommended service at the Nissan Dealership when it was due, and I have never had a problem with my 370Z. The only thing I have ever had to purchase is routine maintenance items such as the cabin filter, air filters, the recommended fluid changes, and the only major stuff was the tires (which I switched over to Continental All DWS06+ All Seasons after still having the original Potenzas on it for ten years!), and also did the brake pads after ten years but they didn't really need it, I just wanted to keep it in top running condition. That's it really! 370Z's are a very reliable and inexpensive sports car to own IF they are maintained from new, at least compared to other much higher priced options with even less horsepower and performance than the 370Z has. The power is plenty for the street and gives a lot of exciting drives, whether it's your favorite winding back road, a drive up into the mountains and switchbacks, or even on the interstate highway. A very comfortable car for long trips too. My wife and I have taken quite a few weekend trips exploring the states we have lived in since I have owned it and it's very comfortable for weekend jaunts to your favorite destination! If you are looking for a fun, reliable, and exciting sports car, give the 370Z a serious look. I think you will be very surprised at both the value, and also the FUN, that one of these little exceptional driving machines can give you. Sure, there are many other options out there, but I doubt you'll find as fun a car for the price range as a 370Z. Or even the new Z (on the used car market anyway) since you can now find those on the used car market. I wouldn't buy a new Z brand new, I would look at the second hand market first as there are actually some good ones coming up for sale now for reasonable prices compared to the very expensive prices being asked for the new Z at the dealerships. $65,000+ for a new Z Nismo? I don't think so Nissan. You need to drop that price to around $50,000. WAY WAY too high priced for a regurgitated 370Z. I went and looked at the new Z in the dealership and they had both the new Z and the Z Nismo. I actually preferred the look and feel of the performance model over the Nismo. I did however love the new Nismo color which was a battleship gray looking paint color which looked incredible. I just didn't like the Recaro seats and while they might be great for the track, for the road, not so much. I use my 370Z for road use and never track it so the Nismo seats would have been way too uncomfortable for a long drive which is how I mostly use my 370Z. I do love the new dash electronics and that part of the upgrade they did. I HATE that goofy looking gear selector on the automatic Z's and also the Z Nismo. Why Nissan thought it was a smart decision to not offer the manual transmission in the new Z Nismo is beyond me. That's going to be a decision they regret later most likely. Most people that buy a Z Nismo WANT A MANUAL! The older 370Z Nismo's with an automatic are RARE. Nobody really bought the 370Z Nismo with an automatic. Crazy decision but hey, I am not on the Nissan executive staff so couldn't tell you why that decision was made?? It baffles the mind. And sorry Nissan, no matter how you look at it, a regugitated 370Z is NOT worth $65,000+! NO WAY. You can get a brand new high tier model of the Toyota Supra for that kind of cash and the Supra is in another league, even with slightly less horsepower. The Supra can leave the Nissan Z in the dust, and has many times already. Lower the price by about $10,000 on the new Nismo Z and then you might have a contender for the most economical sports car on the market in 2025. It would probably INCREASE the amount of Z's being sold. For me personally, the 370Z looks sexier than the new Z. My all time dream car is the Nissan GTR which I have been saving for for a very long time but haven't ever quite gotten there yet. In the meantime, my pristine 370Z fills the void nicely.

Even though i owned multiple cool and fast cars like R34, R35, now I drive a Porsche, I still say the V1 nismo is one of the best cars ever made
