New subscriber and a very happy camper to have found you! Have been a rock hound collecting interesting stones that "call to me" since I learned to walk! Love keeping my "buddies" with me and finally want to learn how to securely wrap them so I can keep a couple around my neck and wherever else on me that I can. Am so excited!
I have just watched this video till the end, and I think I will be able to do it. I have some wirework experience but only weaving not like this video. Your video is really descriptive and the writing is extra useful. Wish me luck. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge for us to make very nice jewellery x
This was a tough one! But I did it and hopefully I get better as I do it a few times! But it was good enough to where! What inspires the names that you give them? There beautiful names. Again thank you for your time!
Regarding the names... they are not all named formally, some are phrases that I put into a few languages that I love, Latin and French, sometimes Greek. Arbor Vitae, is Latin for The Tree of Life, Arbor Amoris, Latin for the Tree of Love... sometimes they come from what I call the frame... Siderails pendant, Platform Pendant... sometimes from the rocks.... My Apatite Pendant uses my blue Apatite stone, Dragons Blood for the stone, Alice's Amethyst etc. I am one of the Ancients, so the names come from my travels through time. I have interest in systems of the past... Single Clarity is the one you should try after Leonis... similar but different, if you did Leonis, you can do Single Clarity without doubt. 🥰💕🙏 sometimes they come from a poem I've written in past.
Very lovely design! There's got to be a way to get the cabs to stay (or stick) to the wire! Maybe a little droplet of super glue if the stone isn't transparent? - I have a little tremor in my hands and I think it might become very frustrating! Nonetheless, I'm still going to try this design. I only have 21g square wire... would that work?
Thank you, TreeSa! Here is a good jewelry glue... it's like super glue, so work with a very small amount, onto a toothpick, then dab onto the back of the stone but it drys in seconds so only when you are ready to set the gem... it might help you. Honey works too... it's a temporary hold but rinses off if it goes wrong... just another idea. Sometimes we only need a little hold until the wire gets over the stone.💕🙏 let me know how it goes. Here is the glue... www.amazon.com/EuroTool-GLU-100-00-New-Glue-Bottle/dp/B0058ECYC0/ref=asc_df_B0058ECYC0/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=241973987467&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1060903770562271643&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1014573&hvtargid=pla-574726448143&psc=1
Do you have a copy of the instructions that are given on the screen, by chance? I'd love to have access to this. I want to make this and it would help Immensely. I love your work!!!
I don't, Tish, this wrap is probably best with rounds and ovals, but I will see if I ever set a teardrop in it, I'll try to record that for us. My mind says it can be done, you just need to make one end pointy as you coil around the stone... try it, I think it will work. I might try it today now! :D
Thanks, Erica, I buy wire at Riogrande.com and regarding the square wire, you just 'manage' it... I show how to get control over the twist in several videos, including this one I think? Thanks again and thanks for watching!
You did great but for people like me who make the piece as they are watching, don't back up in the middle and switch the design so we get 3/4 the way done and are too short on our wires.
Thank you sooo much for the tutorial. I have been trying to find one with a simple elegant look.
You are so welcome! Enjoy making them!

Good to know. I’m new at it & don’t need discouragement ❤️

@@PerfectlyTwistedJewelry Great! I have that glue already, so now I know what to use if need be, Thanks!

Parfait, merci beaucoup

You are amazingly talented!

Thanks, Julie! I'm sorry I don't. I type directly into the video.
Hi Julie, if possible, you can pause the video and take screen shot. I’ve also done that and it helps immensely… 😊
I hope this looks good with round wire..
It should, but if they get squirly, you might consider adding some banding wraps or even a little weave.
Do yo have a teardrop gem wire wrapped something like this !❤️
I don't, Tish, this wrap is probably best with rounds and ovals, but I will see if I ever set a teardrop in it, I'll try to record that for us. Where do you get your wire?
How do you keep the square wire from twisting?😊
Thanks, Erica, I buy wire at Riogrande.com and regarding the square wire, you just 'manage' it... I show how to get control over the twist in several videos, including this one I think? Thanks again and thanks for watching!

That's wonderful input, Jessica, thank you for your comment!
I love your work but I can’t read and watch what’s being done at the same time.
What a great idea, Lucille, I'll remake some of these in voice for us. Thanks for your comment!
Why the music make me feel so drain and weak? 😢😢
Absolutely agree with the comments! This is awesome! Beautiful work!❤
