20 Minute Total Body Dumbbell Strength Workout (follow-along!)

- What's up, Achievers?! Jason and Lauren here with our first ever follow-along dumbbell strength workout on UA-cam! This one is about 20 minutes long and it's a total body routine! If you liked this video, make sure you let us know down below and subscribe to our channel!
Throughout this workout, Lauren will show you the 2-dumbbell version, and I'll be showing the 1-dumbbell version.
Here's the workout:
Circuit 1: 40 seconds on/20 seconds off x 3 rounds:
1) 2DB Squat/1DB Goblet Squat
2) Floor Press
3) RDL to Row
4) Straight Leg Sit Up
Circuit 2: 20 seconds on/10 seconds off x 8 rounds
1) Pop Out to Lunge/Alternating Reverse Lunge
2) Mountain Climber

Thank you, this was a great workout. I loved all of the cues that you give during the exercises, that's sign of a great personal trainer. I also did the warm up and cool down video with this one and look forward to trying the 40 minute dumbbell workout next. I sure hope you make more of these! What weights are you guys using? It’s super super helpful to know.
Oh man! I am having some serious struggles on the beginning stretch with squatting and reaching my arms in the air. Do you have any daily stretch recommendations or videos for those muscles I can do on the regular to loosen things up? Is that a lack of back mobility or legs or both. Love what you guys offer, thanks so much!
it's a bit of both! one thing that would help is to try to do that same exact stretch with your heels elevated on plates/books/etc. If it feels easier, then it's your lower body that's the limitation. If it doesn't then it's probably your upper body. Then, head over to the Overhead Squat video we recently posted and pick the drills that pertain to you!

Hello. This video is so educational. I've been trying to look for a video similar to yours that educates the ideas in this UA-cam vid! 🥼 👍Your tip totally reminds me of the videos from Dr Ethan! Ethan's demonstrations are for sure helpful and I learned a lot for midterms. He is the helpful medical student on UA-cam and he talks about mental health!
