From the MRI nurse telling me to stop singing wandering eye while in that tube for two hours, to spending a week jamming to your tunes while getting prodded poked and stabbed numerous times shout out to the ward 5 Ladies at north shore hospital!! your music kept me positive and is providing me with a safe place inside my head as I try and rebuild my life . Skank is indeed the rock in my life. Really looking forward to seeing you at spark i will be the guy crying his heart out while dancing his ass off. I'm not looking for pity i just wanted to let you know again... how much power there is in your music to heal and spreading the good rhythm, spreading the good Bass, Chur

Finished watching Big Lebowski. Came to my room, rolled a joint and sat down to write a short story I have to deliver. Needed some music with a groove to inspire me. Found this. It all started flowing, smoothly. Funny thing. The story had to be a horror one, somehow turned it into a somewhat funny story. Got too much into a good mood with this music to write something dark :-)

I lived in Lyall Bay, mid 70s we owned the Paul Burns Dairy on Onepu Rd, then not long after we moved into the big dairy across the road on the corner of Wha St/Onepu Rd. I went to Lyall Bay primary school, Evans Bay Intermediate, Rongotai College, surfed the Lyall Bay break wall, fished the break wall (overnighters were the best) Often heard your fullas garage pounding, as I taught myself how to surf...last tiem I saw you was in Bruce Mason Centre on Aucklands North Shore with a japanese tourist buddy of mine..first theatre style performance, man did we party!
