Each one varies but most times you see forging this size it's for extremely large earth moving machinery or parts for presses the reason that the parts are so heavy and bulky is do to the amount of machining it's going to get or not get because this type of work can and will cause cracks to form in the finish product and with a crack you'll have failure so they either make it way to big to handle the stress or to big to make sure it's got enough stock to be removed to get rid of any cracks formed

I could watch it all day... or for at least 8hours until it’s time to go home. Lol 😉
I wish they would show the finished product and what it's used for
0:40 Hate when that happens. Sort of like when you try to flip your omlette and it sticks to the pan :-) They finally get it free at 1:05. The guy at 2:25 has a better idea. He's throwing sand on it to keep it from sticking. After he stops, a couple of hits later, it sticks 2:33.
This how gundams are made
Haha
Probably not to far off
And my mother's vibrator.

Used to work on forges like these years ago replacing the old analogue electronics for PLC controls , however there is a distinct lack of PPE.
I doubt ppe would let them do the job properly and efficiently, plus if you can't stay away from a hot ass piece of metal then you shouldn't be working there 🤓
BOAH NATION you seem like a child, unresponsible thinking like that is what makes companies end up paying worker’s comp
BOAH NATION they manage to do the job well enough in England Europe and the USA it’s pure lack of care from the company that has them not being protected in a forge you have bits of slag that are black not glowing at all but still be 1000 degrees plus you if they are casting you hav liquid steel at 1400C 2750F for Americans splashing around like water in the Chinese factory the workers there had straw hats tee shirts and jeans with sandles , I had did see accidents including one poor guy who was killed PPE can be a pain but it saves lives.
@@boahnation9932 Bullshit...ppe won't stop you from doing your job efficiently...on the contrary, it will let you do your job even more efficiently...what kind of a low IQ idiot are you?
This is better than sleeping. I also like that some of them dont seem to be using ear protection😂
