First off I want to thank you for your service in the army. Brave men like you is why we all enjoy the freedoms that we have today. I am here in eastern Arkansas close to the White River and the Cache River. As far as the largemouth bass go I used to catch them and eat them all the time. They are delicious fish to eat. But there is a lot of controversy over whether you should keep them or not. Some fishermen prefer tournament fishing and do not keep them. They also think you should release your bass so they can catch it later. B.A.S.S. started that trend. It's about making money catching bass in tournaments. I have acquired a taste for Crappie The last 5 or so years and now I just choose to release the bass. I am very happy that you are enjoying the videos Bob Sims. Thank you for watching.
The water is only 7 ft in this video but it's about 12 ft deep now because it's connected to a river system. The fish bite really good around 60 to 70°, but in the winter time from 45 and up.
Wow, you’ve an amazing channel! I love what you do, never stop doing what you love! I’ll be here to support you! I wish you all the best! 😇 +1 Subscriber! 🙏🏻
You found those Crappie again! I noticed on the last couple of videos you are using a fish finder now. Can you tell us what brand and model you chose use?
I use a Humminbird Helix 7 side imaging, down imaging, and It has sonar. I use it when I go to a new lake to check the depth, water temp and bottom structure.
No it's a side imaging, down scan and sonar unit. If I go to a new lake I like to see how deep it is, check the water temperature the bottom structure. I do know what fish look like on there but it dose not work like a lot of scope.
I started fishing this lake for the fist time around the first of December. What I do is use a Humminbird helix si sonar to check water temp and how deep the lake is. I also get a good look at the under water structure. Then I will know where there mite be under water log or something. But the best way I fine fish is when I get snagged on under water limbs, brush or logs. I will try to remember where they are because the fish love to hang out in these spots. they try to hide so they can ambush the bait fish.
Great fishing
Thank you
Those were some nice ones. Catching em on minnows and spinnerbaits. Their bait preference shows their transitioning to winter mode.
Yes sir. Thank you The water temp is getting colder. We will see what we will have to do to catch them through the Winter.
This new lake looks great and has a healthy looking fish population!
Thanks...wait til you see the next video!
Beautiful lake. Looks like another fun trip.
Had fun. yes it is a pretty place. I think it's going to be a good lake to fish.
Looks like another good lake to me! And another good batch of crappies👍
Thank you. Yes I think I may have found a good one.
Another great video, you can sure tell the water levels are down by the marks on the trees, especially for this time of year. Keep them coming
Yes sir the rivers are low but I'm finding some good fishing holes thank you watching Steve Capps.

Thank you and thanks for watching Tyler Goes Fishing.
How deep is the water and what water temps do you find that they bite the best on a lake like that?
The water is only 7 ft in this video but it's about 12 ft deep now because it's connected to a river system. The fish bite really good around 60 to 70°, but in the winter time from 45 and up.

Yes I think I found a nother good crappie lake.
I use a Humminbird Helix 7 side imaging, down imaging, and It has sonar. I use it when I go to a new lake to check the depth, water temp and bottom structure.
Is that a live scope on your boat?
No it's a side imaging, down scan and sonar unit. If I go to a new lake I like to see how deep it is, check the water temperature the bottom structure. I do know what fish look like on there but it dose not work like a lot of scope.
We’re you located
Central Arkansas
Are you fishing private lakes? I never see anybody else in your videos?
No this is a public lake. There was another boat at the end of the lake fishing.
Oh ok. I've never heard you call it by name or seen anybody else out there. I figured it was just an old private field pond
This is another Cache river lake one of many. I moved to this area about 5 years ago. And I am venturing to find new places to fish.
I have a lot of new lakes to try. Hopefully I'll find some good fish in them.
The video starts with catching fish but you didn't describe how you found them.
