Happy 2024 and welcome to my first video of the new year. I'm sharing the up and downs of my sewing journey in 2023 with some favourite and least favourite makes!

I love your sewing projects. I have to say. I am not sure if you made it last year, but it is a summer pencil style skirt with a long thrill at the bottom of the skirt in a floral fabric. It looked so good on you and looked well made 😊
Thank you 🥰 oh yes, I made that one the year before but it's still one of my favourite things I've ever made! The fabric has worn so well, I'm desperately trying to get hold of some more to make a matching top 🤞

Your dresses were wonderful...I think your red and pink 2 piece is the nicest look I have seen with those two colours..loved romantic summer pink..the brown velvet, nailed it...I have a day to myself and I'm going to go back through your videos and see what I missed...

Definitely copy it, I would love to twin!! The pattern is M7971 which is simple but the shape and fit is amazing (it has multiple cup sizes in the pattern, huge bonus) the fabric is originally from Rainbow Fabrics but I got it from someone's destash. I'm sure I've seen it on Etsy recently though, I'll share the link if I find it again ❤️

Thank you so much for watching! There was only 1 part sorry 🤦 I really didn't like the lining and went on the hunt for some I liked, it took ages but I've finally found a lovely one! So I'm going to be sewing it this week and finishing the vlog nearly a year later 😂❤️

I love the velvet dress which is the only one with a different shape with the gathered skirt and makes you look lovely. please don't make it white for the wedding of your friend: white is for the bride only!
Thank you, I love that dress too. Ah no I am the bride!! It's my wedding not my friends 😊 we get married this year so the white version is going to be for a wedding event of ours, which will be super special ❤️
