Firstly, track house racing need a huge thank you from all New Zealanders, never thought we would ever see anything like this happen in the ' NASCAR' sandpit. Let's not forget Scott Dixon and Scott mcclaughlan adapted very quickly to the oval and done by pretty well in spite of no oval background. Best of luck to Shane, and track house going forward.
SVG's kiwi mate Scott Dixon wins @ Indy ...... congrats to both ..... these Kiwi's are cleaning up the crown jewels of racing in the US, without knocking others out of the race.
We don't want SVG to leave us here and go to the US but the man is that good that I think he would give you good old boys a bit of hurry up over there so I think you guys better be ready for him. Go get em SVG
Racing is instinct, the seat of the pants feel, experience, and natural talent. SVG has shown he ticks a lot of boxes by racing many and any race car in all sorts of conditions. This is just another challenge that he will relish mastering , if not right away it won't be long.
SVG will sort it out very quickly ... There's very good drivers and then there are Elite multi talented drivers ... SVG is one of those that Operate and process information at an exceptional higher level ... Special Driver ...
shane is my hero and i think he will be hard to beat in nascar maybe not in his first year but after that he will be fighting for championships , also hope he races in every other series while in the US , tony stewart should throw him in a sprint car , hell why not a run up pikes peak or Bonniville he could smash records in all series
Well all I can say is that in a few hours, all the questions and assumptions will be answered. I think that we may all be in for a interesting race and a shock result 🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿 Gentleman!, Start your Engines........
I really like his attitude and the fact he is not bothered about winning and doesn’t want to ruin other driver’s experience and their chances in the playoffs
Some racing drivers get there with alot of help from own wealth, then once there they get time in seat to become more talented drivers. Other's like alot of without wealth can't even get a chance to show their talented naturally and just happy while racing respectively. SVG is talented too the max. Hope he has heaps of fun racing in your awesome NASCAR series.
SVG is experienced with street racing because several races in the Australian supercar series are on tracks like that, whereas it was a whole new environment to most NASCAR drivers. As he said, there are a number of supercar drivers who would probably have done well in Chicago. Oval racing is a whole different thing, just look at the number of instances where drivers lose control on what look like relatively simple turns.
@@poorned5148 Dirt oval vs NASCAR at Talledega, Daytona or Charlotte? Not much of a comparison. I hate the Giz, he's a pushy bastard who has got away with shit for years... but he's the best racer NZ/Aus have seen (yep, better than Lowndes, Brock, Johnson, Ambrose and Whincup). Foreigners are always putting shit on oval racing but to me it looks bloody hard in cars that take flight pretty easily let alone at top speeds of around 320km/h.... Having said that, I still reckon he will surprise everybody when he gets on the oval... and no NASCAR driver could ever come and win Bathurst
The whole 'street course' experience thing is a load of bs. You think the F1 drivers who have tried NASCAR recently don't have street experience? Yet you don't see Button or Raikkonen win on them
He could do it, go straight to Cup. Montoya did it alongside Busch series races, SVG could do the same and he’d have better equipment than Montoya had.
SVG needs more experience on ovals there's doubt about it so give him a year in both Xfinity and Trucks and then watch out in 2025 as he goes to Cup. Who else is on SVG bandwagon...I am. If Nascar doesn't want to there then bring them here. Thank you Justin and TrackHouse.
Meaning TrackHouse can't get a third charter nobody is selling. In Xfinity and Trucks you need no charter so let him get some experience on pavement. Besides dirt ovals are a whole difference monster if Nascar can get rid of the bullshit charter system then yes i would love to see him in Cup next year.
Don't need him he hasnt paid his dues in the lower seriers thats what the lower series is supposed to be for to work their way up to the sprint cop series

One of a kind he is 🙌🏻
It is possible you have set him on the path in our minds to be a future hall of famer ;-) Choice presentation.
Thankyou from Australia... that was great 🍻
Good on ya Shane, this will make NASCAR big here in OZ.
Glad to see NASCAR will have new fans! 🙌🏻 this channel will be covering all the news within this sport 👌🏻

Shane has driven a sprintcar in NZ a couple of times and by all accounts, wants to do it again.
100% agree with you! 🙌🏻
yes and done a pretty good job of it @@AW-pz3qc

Great input John! Oval racing is no joke, but we are about to witness what he can do 🙌🏻
Go that guy ^^
Glad you like the video! Keep tuning in for more like it ☺️
Yes, 100%.
SVG Is no stranger to oval racing ,started in kiwi kids ,and has been racing sprintcars in nz.
Apologies 😮💨
Great video, says it all.
Glad you think so! Keep tuning in for more 🙌🏻
Its win win all round, if he stays in America or if he comes back home, we will still see him racing.
And that’s the main thing 🙌🏻

Respect in NASCAR? I wonder how long that will last.
With Shane's racing style in supercars
As soon as he is in full time and also fightging
The respect will be gone
You think there is no respect in NASCAR?

This guy seems genuine, and worthy of respect...however WOKECAR has become just that and deserves an inglorious demise.
