This is my homeland. I moved away last year for a number of reasons, and realised just before it was too late that Sussex is home for me. I can't wait to come back, and I'm so glad I was able to choose before finalising my university offer, I didn't know how homesick I was. It may be more expensive than where I am now, but nothing can be worth more than where you consider home.

thank you for putting this on here. my brother commited suicide at beachy head in Feb this year. this video shows that eastbourne beachy head is a beautiful place and not just a dark place. Thier is always help and the chaplains who gauss the area who try and stop it do a fantastic job

Yes, I would happily live in Sussex. The only thing I can understand about people who live there wanting to go to Spain and places like that, is for the warmth. I did find Sussex colder in the summer than I am used to (I live in Canada).

Sussex born, and on my father's side at least, Sussex bred way back into the 16th and 17th centuries at least...and yes you show some very beautiful aerial views of a beautiful county...but I hope you won't mind me pointing out that it's very much centred on East Sussex. I think you strayed once to Lancing College, then two or three times as far west as Arundel and the Arun Valley...there's a lot more than that if you keep coming west! (In no particular order Selsey Bill, Chichester Harbour, Bosham, Cowdray, Uppark, Amberley & Houghton, Petworth etc all spring to mind, and there's much more)...but thanks for the three and a half minutes of tranquillity anyway!
The simposters
Actually, it doesn't show all that much of East Sussex either--I can think of plenty of beauty there not shown, including the border with Kent with the old Cinque Ports (eg., Rye), the edge of Romney Marsh, also Ashdown Forest and the Weald near the border with Kent ... Plenty of stately homes in the Weald also. But I do agree about West Sussex!

Lovely shots. A pity they were over-edited. No need. Why not linger on the shots? There was a lot to take in, and there was no rush as it wasn't an advert. I do get that it was a compendium/highlight, but please don't go the way of advert-type hyper-editing. Films like this need space to breathe. Very nice footage though. Thank you.
I tend to agree but maybe it was shot as a commercial. The current obsession with "colour grading" and "luts" also adds to the artificial look in my opinion. None of this is intended to take anything away from the superb collection of shots I hasten to add.

Hi there, we've been enjoying watching this. We film natural sight and sound walks in soulful cities, and have just filmed Brighton, so it's lovely to see someone doing something similar but by drone, thank you for taking the time to add it.

Just watched this again for what is probably the 10th time. It really is beautiful. I live in West Sussex and all of these places are pretty much on my door step. It is a stunning area and this video really does showcase it fantastically.

I came to England for the first time. I stayed with a cousin in Eastbourne. I couldn't have come to a more beautiful part of the country. In fact, once I had seen a few special places that meant something to me personally, I didn't want to leave East Sussex. If it had been easy for me to immigrate to England, I think I would have done so, except that all of my family lives in Canada, as I do.

lovely cliff line and green country side Please come to Australia and film Myall lake National Park 3 hour drive north of Sydney which consists of Forests lakes beaches ,sand dunes and wildlife

Stunning Scott, just stunning. I was watching this and commented to my wife that it HAD to have been shot by a photographer with a drone rather than a drone enthusiast who cobbled together a video because it clearly shows a great eye for composition and lighting. Well done!

This one is just stunning man! I am considering a visit to Brighton in October and I really wanna visit some of these places! Could you list some of the locations? Like the castles and such!:-D Love from Norway!
The castle in the middle of a "lake" is Bodiam. At least some of the shots are of Brighton (sea front and pier). The white cliffs can be seen at their best east of Brighton, including the Seven Sisters and Beachy Head; you can get distant views from various places west along the coast, such as Worthing.
