This is absolutely sensational. I live in Sussex and know its a fantastic place but sometimes forget quite how staggeringly beautiful it is. Outstanding video.
What an exceptionally beautiful video. I credit both the beauty of the Sussex countryside and your sensitive and inspirational filming of it! Thank you. It took me back to my childhood--the happy times visiting relatives in Brighton and exploring the surroundings, and later when my mother lived in Shoreham-by-Sea and took us to various beautiful places.
Stunning. Truly cinematic! One of the few drone footage videos I watched to the end. I'm still learning my P3 Adv but if I ever got close to this quality I would be extremely happy!!
Thanks for the kind words Neil. Most of the footage I captured was using the X3 or Phantom 3, which is basically the same sensor as your advanced, so you certainly will be able too buddy.
Hi mate, I got here by reading a post you wrote about flying in and round the Ashdown Forest. Good insight, and amazing film! You were pretty close at one point to my house (near Coleman's Hatch) (I think near one of the car parks). That said, I'm receiving the Mavic Air 2 today and planning to film for a review... What's your take now in 2020 about the forest and flying...? I'm also going to head out to Beachy Head - I've filmed there with an FPV plane and had no issues. Again, beautiful film! Take care Sir!
Very nice shots, and beautifully edited to the (good choice of) music. Is this actually shot in 2.35:1 or has it been cropped from 16:9 (or some other aspect)? Just curious. It's superb either way.
Hello, thanks for your message. No problems with filming, some places needed permissions like around the windmills and West pier, but generally open areas out of the way from people you`ll have no issues.
Absolutely incredible! I'm moving to Canada in a few months and am planning to make a short drone montage of Sussex to show them, how did you get the shot on the windmill at 2:15? It's filmed beautifully!
I have flown my drone on the Ashdown Forrest last year. We were miles from anyone so no one would ever have noticed. I do have insurance as well, and am flying for photography reasons and not stunts etc. Just keep away from people and i'm sure you will almost go noticed.
Sussex is beautiful. I have no words. It's so peaceful. Thank you and congratulations, great job!
Looks lovely 🙂
Beautifully done, and adding that particular piece of music was amazing too...thank you...

Thanks Jake, very kind words. That was just an orbit around the windmill whilst lifting.
