That said, them being friends doesn't hurt. On another episode they were talking about puddings (the minister for health said puddings were bad) and James said how upset that made him, he once went over to Eds and ate an entire pint of B&J while looking up American B&J flavours. (cue laughter and ribbing from the others). Ed then revealed that James hadn't been invited that day (implication being James interrupted Ed and his girlfriend). Just another added layer of absurdity that added so much!

Live their chemistry on off menu as well. Often complimenting eachother on jokes or questions, saying how proud they are of eachother. And I love how when James goes super weird and whimsical, Ed just goes: right, what are you on about, mate. And James just leaning into it even more. Definitely one of my favourite pods of all time
