- We make some minor improvements to our narrowboat home with a bit of DIY, but run into problems with living in a floating home, before setting off back towards Oxford, encountering several mooring challenges unique to life on the rivers 🌿🌊

You can buy little cup things to sit items with wheels or legs on, to stop them from moving or scratching the floor. I have an old brass bed with wheels that I use them on, to stop it moving in the night lol
When you think about it, look for a couple of locking replacement wheels for your cart. But you may have already thought about that, lol.
Just find some plastic lids and sit the caster wheels in the lids so it can't roll around so easily, but you should still be able to pull the cabinet out if you need to, the lids will slide along the floor.

Where we are going, we don't need wheels lol ;) I'm happy you are getting river confident, it is good to leave some slack rope incase river level goes down or use snapable tie rap. I'm trying to invent a gadget just for this purpose. Looks very busy out that way, you need a cannon to make more mooring hehe ;)

If I were you guys, I'd have kept the old shelf. Of course, I'd have sawed off the legs and kept the little square, cubby holders thingys and use those as planters for plants, flowers etc.. love y'all!! Miss blubber 🥺 💗 Kay

I had visions of the new storage unit doing pirouettes around the lounge but hey it looks fine l’m pleased you made the vegan pub, one of my favourite white wines is vegan (no chemicals)and cloudy with bits in it 👍

There are castor wheel cups with felt on the bottom especially for furniture, stops furniture from wandering. You need another PM we heard the news in Australia.😮

You could put a hook on the side of it and secure it to the wall perhaps!
I have a living room door that wont stay closed, so I use a cute rubber piggy in front of it... but you have a dog so probably not a good solution for you ( the dog may disagree 😛)

It can be more expensive sometimes, but a lot of uk supermarkets have their own vegan range which is really affordable!
I’m rewatching this video and I have a question. When they make new money for the king, is the old money with the queen still good? Yes, it’s a silly question but I’m from the USA and really don’t understand.. 😂🤣😂

They have started the money with the king on into circulation but the money with the Queen on is still valid, but no more will be distributed so it will eventually fade out 😊

I’m buying my first boat in the next 6 months or so, how long are you allowed to stop and moor on the river Thames? Everywhere online says no more than 24 hours… and how far do you have to go again before you can moor somewhere else? I know the rules on the canal but the rules on a river is confusing
