It's good to see you take a break and spend it with your family. You only have 18 summers to spend with your kids, until they're grown. It's obvious that you're a hard worker and a good father.

Awesome, I just finished forging a custom super sharp fillet knife and have many more to do. It’s nice to see folks outdoors having fun. Thanks for sharing. Stay sharp out there!⚔️

Did you like the pontoon boat? Looking to buy one, but would you use it in the ocean? Half mile to one mile off shore. I plan on using a 3.5 or 5hp gas motor!

@@TinyBoatNation Don’t you have a AQUOS heavy-duty series Pontoon Boat? If so what’s your opinion.

I have one with a 6hp and have taken it 4 miles offshore in San Diego on a good day. Definitely works well offshore just do your research on weather beforehand

Great vid, thanks for sharing. It's funny I've got that k2 explorer kayak in the video and I was looking at the FoldCat 375 and those AQUOS Chinese pontoon boats. I want an inflatable mini "bass boat" with a nice open deck for 1-2 people to stand on.
    1. Do you need the casting bar with the fold cat 375 or is it stable enough without it, in lakes or bays with 0-10kts wind? I'm looking at pontoon boats because of their uninterrupted casting deck (like a bass boat) and I feel like the casting bar defeats that purpose.
    2. With the FoldCat 375 do you think I would need extra bottom supports if I had a foot control bow mounted 55lb thrust motor up front, and a 2-3HP motor in the back?
    Thanks!

@@TinyBoatNation Thanks for the response! I've seen those videos a little while ago, I think you mentioned that the casting bar is like the jelly to a peanut butter & jelly sandwich, and you put extra beams to support a 4HP engine + a trolling motor.
I guess I was wondering if you think its stable enough without the casting bar or if I'm better off going with the AQUOS with the small side stabilizing pontoons, and whether or not I will need additional beams to support a 2-3 HP outboard + a 55lb thrust bow mounted trolling motor.

Hey great video. I currently have a Supcat10 by Sea Eagle but I’m looking for something bigger that allows a bow and transom mount. I recently ran across this boat and I love the wide open deck. It reminds me of the Foldcat by Sea Eagle but I hate the deck with all the separate beams, it seems like you can’t afford to make a false step. How is the quality of this boat? I’ve never heard of the company.

I own this boat and love it. Been using it for about a year now, started with a trolling motor then got a 6hp tohatsu. Never had any issues with the boat thus far, I have taken it 4 miles offshore with 2 people on it in San Diego and trusted it 100% of the time. Great bang for your buck, the boat plus outboard costed me around 2k, which is relatively nothing, given I commonly see people in $4-6k single person kayaks who are much more limited in what they can do on it.
