This one hits home. As a working individual your health and family comes first. Nobody is going to warn you about it and your job is not your family it just pays your bills. If your average day doesn't consists of taking breaks, eating healthy, exercising, sleeping then you probably need rethink your day a little bit.

I work for an insurance company in New Zealand in underwriting team. We are only allowed 37.5 hrs a week and any overtime get paid at 1.5 times of the hourly rate and any public holiday 2 times of the hourly rate. Company provides multiple health and wellness benefits.

I don't know your situation. But would suggest not to leave quickly, but experiment by reducing the time yourself against the instructions of your boss. Tell him you need a balance between work and life. Let's see how he responds. Anyway you have decided to leave. If he reacts positively and make things easier for you, it's better than searching a new job.
Health is wealth. If health is gone then everything is gone. Prioritize health over work. If you ignore your health then be ready to pay the price sooner or later. The most expensive currency in today's world is Health.

I hope you get it. So it's not show off rather it's what law gives us the right to use and it's our identity that we know how much we worked for it to get a CA degree. Doing CA is not everyone's cup of tea so your jealousy makes no sense for ignorant.

I am a proud Chartered Accountant Working in small KPO for 8.5 hrs a day only for 5 days a week in Rajkot. I also got offers from BIG 4 firms but I am happy with my salary of 5.5 lacs p.a. Sometimes my friend and relative's complain me as this is a lower package, but I think what matters for me is my family and personal life more than anything. Sometimes over greed of money can be biggest problem. I never use apple or went to Starbucks, Macd etc. Easy living and managing mental health is all I need ❤❤

Saying "No" is the dangerous part because they will fire you (or atleast increase the toxicity of the workplace) and then it's difficult to get a replacement job.

Family issues , losing dad , High expectations from myself , Jee wasnt my goal I wanted to study abroad, from being to a topper to becoming an above average student, ADHD and OCD affecting my daily life , not being able to go abroad cause of financial issues , no proper guidance, decided to take a drop year and start prep from scratch but after a month depression became worse , procrastination , anxiety attacks, now I've reached a point where I don't know if I can clear this exam or not. But just gonna give it my all. JEE isn't even my dream ,Noone told me to choose this path but I chose this cause I need to support my parents financially. So I have to do it now

I work for an insurance company in New Zealand in underwriting team. We are only allowed 37.5 hrs a week and any overtime get paid at 1.5 times of the hourly rate and any public holiday 2 times of the hourly rate. Company provides multiple health and wellness benefits.

But just gonna give it my all.

मैं झारखंड से हूं। और मैं अनुभव कर चुका हूं कि पूरे भारत में इसी तरह मजदूरों से 12 घंटे काम करवा रहे हैं। यूपी, बिहार, झारखंड, मध्य प्रदेश, उड़ीसा आदि से अन्य राज्य काम करने जाने वाले मजदूरों को मजबूरन 12 घंटे काम करना पड़ रहा है। यही सच्चाई है। क्योंकि मैं भी गुजरात के दमन, तमिल नाडु के चेन्नई और आंध्र प्रदेश गुंडुर काम करने के लिए जा चुका हूं। सब जगह 12 घंटे ही काम करना पड़ता था। इसको सुधारना बहुत जरूरी है।

I am not here to discourage you. But pursue something else if you are into Accounting. There are no motivating factors in CA - study extremely hard to barely pass, get some basic salary, ultra high work pressure and many more. The only pros is that you get respect that only in India that too from middle class families.
