I don't eat it as much as I eat wheat because I didn't like the taste and was kind of addicted to wheat rotis. But after watching this video, this year I will start eating Bajra as much as possible.

I was posted at southen part of odisha where millets are consumed in Summer in khichdi type food.
One of my colleague advied me to add millets to sattu of my child when he was 8 month old also gave me 2 kg.
To my surprise my thin boy become helthy(you can say more then helthy for his age) with in one to 2 month, then we reduced the intake of millets also reduced the sattu after doctors advise.
So, yes millets are super food.

But what about satiety 😉 I can eat 2/3 chapatis (wheat)but not more than one jowar roti at a time so it's more full filling

But by eating Wheat we become sick because it contains Gluten. After becoming sick we are spending so much to hospitals, so by eatung millets you will be healthy, so hence Millets are very cheaper & Healthy as well.. Moreover we have already paid taxes for which governments giving subsidies of billions of rupees to pesticide & fertilizer companies to grow these which hidden cost, if we calculate 1kg of rice costs around 3000 rupees and wheat costs 1500 per kg. So it's very very cheap. And moreover we are destructing natural resources by constructing dams by consuming culture rather we should be in a conserving culture for the future generations to come💡💡

I'm from andhra and we didn't forget eating millets. Everyone knows millets are much more nutritious than rice, roti. We eat ragi ball (ragi sangati), ganti rice, korra rice, arikalu rice, samalu. I personally observed change when i shifted from rice to millets.

That’s wonderful to hear! Millets are packed with nutrients like fiber, protein, and essential minerals, and they’re known to improve digestion, boost immunity, and even help regulate blood sugar. It’s amazing how something as simple as incorporating millets can have such a positive impact on health!

I myself have completely moved out from Rice for last 8 years and dont feel like ever trying rice again. Millets feel so light and energetic.
