Honestly these 2 are unconventionally beautiful which is a positive because it gives us a range of actors that don't fit the usual look. Sometimes overly attractive actors take you out of the story and those actors require a lot of makeup and prosthetics to make their looks fit the role. Hollywood needs to embrace a variety of looks because it opens up the pool of stories they can tell

There are enough people out there like “The Optimized Man”, who’s a very base and coarse man who has often said about certain actresses something to the effect of, “She doesn’t have my preferred type of beauty”. He has also endorsed men copy DiCaprio’s tactic of “date a woman til she’s 25; rinse and repeat”.
To make matters worse, enough of these men buy movie tickets, judging the product by their standards of beauty. Producers know this all too well, even for teen daughter roles. It’s wack.

She isn't ugly and Hollywood knows that too. It is just an oversimplified way of saying she isn't suitable for their vision whatever that vision may be. There are also actors who get told they are too pretty for a role. It is more complicated than it seems.
