- Here's the 1/24 scale Light Armor Type: Rose from Kotobukiya's line of Governors for the Hexagear series. This thing is tiny and comes at a high price, but it's certainly impressive with nice articulation, good details, and an assortment of weapons.

I'm gonna get one of these, the Pawn I because I like his sci-fi knight design, but you are right about the price. I really wish these were more like 5-7 dollars because then you could really army build these things up like you can do with Leos or NPD Leos. As it is though, the cheapest I've seen is 11 bucks.
It’s so tiny! It does make sense to use pins to put the joints together. You could put the hg loto next to a governor and it would look like a power armor of sorts.
when you said that if your used to table top games the prices wont be so shocking and I think that's probably the best use for this. I've been wanting something a little more interesting for DnD and this would be a great blank body.

I just got my rose. The next one is my lowe. I think they're good for diorama purposes. And i also love how small and flexible they are. But i agree with the over pricing XD.

I got the 1.5 version and... while it has more heads the color separation is awful for it... just had to gripe since it was twice the price of the OG.

Only downside is the price.....yeah...you can get 2 HGs for that price...ouch...might still get her though just for the sheer waifu power

I'm a little conflicted at who this is aimed at? I mean its nice but its just way too small. And Koto came out swinging with a whole line.
Right? And with the price it should’ve been 1/20 at least...1/24 is just too dang small.
I think these Governor kits are for pair with Koto's Hexa Gears vehicles line.
These are more aimed at diorama guys or people who collect miniatures for say army building games. Much closer to stuff like warhammer.
It’s for a figure board game.
They are the same scale with the HEXA Gear mech. Imagine the character is twice the size of the original, the HEXA Gear mech will be HUGE and more expensive -_-
I feel like we should be extra careful with Hexagear since they're really small.
More stuff I want but luckily I do have access to this (just need the moneys for it). This is my personal taste but I really hate when they give soldier kits unique faces. It sort of prevents me from getting more than 1 unlike the "male" versions that have helmets. On a side note, the assets (^_~) on this and the other one are quite nice.
Do you think this would fit with the 1 20 or the even smaller mechatro we go kits? Would be an interesting combination
That doesn't seem too overpriced to me. Assuming a 100% markup at each level and the vendor direct ordering from the manufacturer, ~$15.00 means the vendor pays ~$7.50 and it costs the manufacturer ~$3.75 to make the figure. Then once you figure in tooling the injection molds, labor, design, profit, and the smaller target market that all sounds relatively correct.
I think Gundam kits are priced below their market value to sell more kits and generate bigger sales numbers.Frankly I could buy an HG kit every paycheck and not bat an eye, and I think that's Bandai's marketing concept. Invest in repeat customers more than individual products.

This is why i hesitate to buy kotobukiya kits, that thing really doesn't look good OOB and the weapons require painting too. I really hope the other kits look better OOB.

Hahahaha and U have no idea how expensive those things are OUT of the US... i got that one for 45 dollars. And was the cheapest cuz the other governors are around 55dollars... and the “big ones” like demolition brute or blockbuster or weird tails, are around $95-120 dollars.

I think you are a bit spoiled by how cheap Gunpla are for what you get. Anyone used to collecting Figma vinyls, Black series toy collectors, or any kind of miniature wargame would still consider this a pretty good price.
Well I definitely don't represent anyone one thing for me is that if the price in general is small.
Then I could definitely forgive a lot maybe that's why the sides of it doesn't bother me as much.
Also everything that comes with is nice as well and 15 bucks while definitely maybe a little pricey for it is also not a demanding amount of money either.
But with that said these are definitely something you shouldn't get unless you're also planning on buying the larger hexa gear kits that go with
it's almost like the figures were made for the mecha or something
