FC Barcelona has more than 150k season ticket holders and its "B" team plays on a stadium with 15k people capacity (all seater), which is more than okay for the division they're playing (it almost doubles that of Alcorcón's for instance) and even it would be okay for top flight's standards (it's almost as big as Alaves', it's on par with Girona's, it's bigger than Leganes' and it's three times bigger than Eibar's). The team itself isn't faring that well in the league but it's not playing bad, besides it has a good breed of homegrown players like Palencia, Cucurella, Aleñà, Oriol Busquets (shame about the injury), Abel Ruiz, Carles Pérez or Miranda (to name a few) and they made a few decent signings like David Costas or José Arnáiz, so they attract a decent amount of people on home games. However the main problem is that Barcelona and its "B" team never (or almost never) play home games at the same time, and who would chose to go all the way to places like Tenerife, Cádiz or Lugo (that are more than 1000km away from Barcelona) to watch the kiddos play when the big squad is playing on the Camp Nou? I wish I could give you a more concrete number about the "B" team's affluence, but that's all I can do I'm affraid.

We have had to rely on young players to step up after we had 9 injuries at one point. Short still won’t spend any money so we have to either loan or get players on frees. If we spent the money that Boro did then we would be flying especially since we had fucking Grayson as manager. He isn’t even a league two manager. At least Coleman knows what he’s doing

10 Teams that will never be promoted to their countries' respectives top flights:
Barcelona B, Castilla, Sevilla Atlético, Bilbao Athletic, Werder Bremen II, Jong Ajax, Atl.Madrid B, Valencia Mestalla, Betis Deportivo, PSG II (among hundreds of other examples).
Why? Because of all them are "B"/Reserve teams and thus cannot play in the same division as their main teams.
As for the rest of the teams... Who knows what might happen? Nobody expected Girona, Leganés, Eibar, Benevento, Darmstadt or Huddersfield to make it to their respective countries' top flights and they just friggin' did it.

You make a good point... FC Barcelona has more than 150k season ticket holders and its "B" team plays on a stadium with 15k people capacity (all seater), which is more than okay for the division they're playing (it almost doubles that of Alcorcón's for instance) and even it would be okay for top flight's standards (it's almost as big as Alaves', it's on par with Girona's, it's bigger than Leganes' and it's three times bigger than Eibar's).
The team itself isn't faring that well in the league but it's not playing bad, besides it has a good breed of homegrown players like Palencia, Cucurella, Aleñà, Oriol Busquets (shame about the injury), Abel Ruiz, Carles Pérez or Miranda (to name a few) and they made a few decent signings like David Costas or José Arnáiz, so they attract a decent amount of people on home games.
However the main problem is that Barcelona and its "B" team never (or almost never) play home games at the same time, and who would chose to go all the way to places like Tenerife, Cádiz or Lugo (that are more than 1000km away from Barcelona) to watch the kiddos play when the big squad is playing on the Camp Nou?
I wish I could give you a more concrete number about the "B" team's affluence, but that's all I can do I'm affraid.

The problem is that even if they changed their name, they would still be a "B" team. Let's imagine for instance that all of a sudden Tottenham's U23 squad was called "Enfield Athletic", yeah it would've a different name but it would still be Tottenham's U23 squad.
But yeah there are plenty of cases in Spanish football of "B" teams with no "B" on their names: Real Madrid Castilla (Real Madrid), Betis Deportivo (Betis), Valencia Mestalla (Valencia), Fabril (Deportivo de la Coruña), Sevilla Atlético (Sevilla), Bilbao Athletic (Athletic Club de Bilbao), Atlético Malagueño (Málaga), Atlético Levante (Levante), Deportivo Aragón (Real Zaragoza)... so I get your point.
.P.S.: Fun fact: Barcelona B has had different names in the past, its original name was Club Deportivo Condal and up until 27 years ago it was known as Barcelona Atlètic.

James Theus my guess is that it was during the pre-one-point-a-draw years. Back then, if you drew a game you got 2 points. They probably just parked the bus for the vast majority of games. It used to be a pretty common strategy in Italian football, or so I've heared 😎

Late to the party. That fact is wrong. They got promoted to serie A in 1969. And then the following season in 1970 in Serie A they only scored only 11 goals and got relegated.

Parma currently sit in the top half of the table in 9th place with 36 points while Sheffield United sit at 7th right now with 44 points. Parma is behind Milan on goal difference. It’s honestly not bad for teams that “would [supposedly] NEVER get promoted again.”

I don't really understand this video, it gives no real explanation of why these teams won't get promoted again other than they wasn't as good as they once was. Especially when mentioned that Ipswich finished 16th last season as a point, even though the 3 seasons before that they finished top 3 in succession.

Clearly you didn't do enough research before making this Sheffield united are currently 6th in the championship and doing very well after recently getting promoted from league 1 and playing fantastic football in the championship, and as for not being better than their neighbours united have got 4 points against them in the league this season.
I’m a Wolves fan, and I can tell you Sheffield United are DEFINITELY the best team in Sheffield. Sheffield Wednesday are just bad. United are challenging for play-offs
Wednesday have always been more consistent, though. If the Blades do not capitalize on their recent form it's most likely back to mediocrity for them. People seem to forget that something like good form isn't necessarily the standard. Leicester would be above Spurs and Liverpool if form was an indicator of class.

Hamburger SV is going to be the same story as Sunderland. If they go down this season, they won't ever get back up again. Unless they bounce straight back, which I can't see happening. Because unlike Sunderland they'll be most likely going straight to the 3rd tier because their investor will jump off. And it's goddamn hard for clubs getting back to the Bundesliga once they hit 3rd tier.
Mattheuw1154 you obviously don’t know what’s going on with Sunderland. The only reason we are bottom is because we spent 2 mil al summer. After selling Pickford for 30 mil. We got two keepers who I wouldn’t trust to run a bath and we have no depth in our squad. We lost our top scorer who was on loan and now we only have 2 registered strikers who are 19 and 18. We have had to rely on young players to step up after we had 9 injuries at one point. Short still won’t spend any money so we have to either loan or get players on frees. If we spent the money that Boro did then we would be flying especially since we had fucking Grayson as manager. He isn’t even a league two manager. At least Coleman knows what he’s doing
