Loving the castle! One suggestion I have would be to fill in the foliage around the back of the (Western) river. It looks pretty bland at the moment. This can be applied to the park as a whole, as most of it is really flat, and greenery (mainly trees) is an integral part of any park. Basically, just spam plants everywhere! XD Another big thing is the framing and supports around the screens. Disney is good at hiding them, and in your case you could follow their standards by framing and supporting the screens with the castle stone. It'd just look better. Anyhoo, the park is looking splendid! Keep it up!

I'm a big fan of your commentary and humor and the environment of the channel's community is very laid back. It's all a very nice change of pace from people yelling at everything and everyone through the internet and I dig the games you've played so far. Planet Coaster is for sure my current favorite with Cities Skylines in second, but some of the other ones you've done have turned me onto some less publicized titles that I never would've found otherwise. Whatever you decide to do in the long run, though, as long as you continue promoting a positive, laid back environment, I'm totally there! Thank you for the awesome content!
Hey Jonty I had a cool idea for firework shows with lighting; if you put down a floodlight and duplicate it in place a few times then rotate them all slightly, you could make it look like the flood light was moving across your castle with triggers. :)
Jonti, you've been discussing games and such quite a bit, and while I can't speak for the whole audience, I can tell you that I won't particularly care *what* you're playing, so long as *you're* playing it. I come to this channel for creativity, sure, but also for your witty and entertaining dialogue. By all means, play the games that help your channel succeed (like Planet Coaster)but please don't box yourself in to only creative games (except for Throwback Thursday).

I find the castle to be rather beautiful. And I understand the hours to build one thing. Just finished a Greek-inspired park entrance that ended up having a small mall inside it, 5 distinct levels, and have plans to use the space under it as part of a ride skin for the new water ride. So far it's at 2,060 parts and a total of 11 hrs of work on it.
It looks amazing! I love the purple roofs so much :D Talking about colors, one of the roofs on the tallest tower still has the default red. The small square windows on the towers you built last time are the same turquois as the parts of the bridge you removed. I subscribed to your channel because of Planet Coaster, but I really like the majority of the games you're posting about. But I also really like how you do your videos. It's nice to listen to you, I like your sense of humor, and everything seems a lot more calm than on other channels lol No matter what you'll play in the future, I'll still check out your videos ;)
I just wikipedia-ed Cinderella Castle, which is what I thought was at the center of all Disney parks, and found out that it is only in the center of the Magic Kingdom and Tokyo Disneyland. The castle in Anaheim's Disneyland is based on Sleeping Beauty and is also the castle shown on Disney's movie title cards. My whole mind is boggled.

A tiny idea--maybe some of those flags on the upper corners of the two big screens would tie them into the castle look during the day a bit better instead of just sticking up like the proverbial sore thumbs until the fireworks shows at night?

Geeksim You could try the Cheat engine speed hack trick. (slow down the game 2x - 4x while recording and speed it up at edit. Works really good for getting smooth gameplay when you struggle with fps.
Love the video, I think the castle would look better if the stone was a shade or two lighter. That will make it happier looking and easier to light at nighttime!! I hope with the show you use triggered light effects. I haven't really seen it yet in a planet coaster show, and especially in the bad guy section you could light up the whole castle in white quickly to simulate lightning!

One other alternative you could consider for a let's play of a little different sort would be Stardew Valley. If you like a bit of farming. You could also consider Factorio, but it might be a little far from your comfort zone. Just as some ideas. Also, know what you mean about being a one game channel exclusively. happened in Fallout 4 when interest died so did some channels; however, on some, people only wanted to see FO4 & got mad if they tried to play other games. Personally if I like the creator I'll watch most things they play even if only slightly interested in the game because I enjoy their personalities.

Jonti, im gonna be honest with you, i understand the fear that follows becoming a one trick on UA-cam, and you clearly understand them too, but i feel like you are having the wrong approach here on how you produce and market your content outside Planet Coaster. It has nothing to do with you, is just that the other games you play don't interst me at all, Castle Story, Theme Hospital, Creativerse, these are games that very few people know of and have few to no interest in it, and i believe you can see how much the name of the game can carry a series, since Cities is you second most popular one. I understand some people will watch anything you release, but some people just don't have the time and have to curate what they will watch here(and i believe thats the majority of youtube), and since you are very new to this i would recomment keeping this games more to the future and focusing on more popular games that will actually bring the views. I can say that you have a lot of potential but you may be holding yourself back because of what you choose to produce (city builders, management games are clearly the focus here and have a very small number of fans to keep watching them). Im watching youtube for a looong time, and i believe Jeriicho explains better than me how all of this works in his IDGAF video (ua-cam.com/video/xbXIdhMkP7g/v-deo.html), your channel is in the other end of his, but suffering from the same thing he went through, identity crisis on What to Make vs What People Want to See.

You could do a restaurant with a view and a hedge maze for the garden. Plus a couple bigger coasters and a carousel.

You should make some knight anamatronics guarding the castle.

Maybe in a few years there will be another gen of theme park games so when that happens do that
You can pass a ride or two through the castle, or treat it like a ride skin.
