watching these videos is both enjoyable and frustrating as i know i'll never have the skill or imagination to come up with anything remotely like this. keep up the good work.
Don't bring yourself down! A lot of this comes from trying out things and finding out what you enjoy and what doesn't work, and with time youll make great things too!
I had been really enjoying your videos, as I just got the game this weekend, and you do a great job of giving ideas for decoration, but then you had to go bring Monkey Island into it and now I can't stop grinning. So thank you for that. I know this is old, but I just had to share that.
Having just got the console version, I've discovered your videos. I was looking for some inspiration and your builds are incredible! It will take me a while to get to that level, but im actually working my way through the career mode as its really teaching me a lot, so thought it was worth doing that before starting sandbox.
Watching your videos has really helped me with the decor in my parks. I've come from just throwing flamethrowers around all my rides to actually following a theme and making all my parks look great. Thank you!
I believe there is a way to keep the trapdoor at 16:30 open: add a trigger to a coaster and then make the trapdoor stay open for very long. It'll stay open because the coaster while activate the trigger again before the time has passed.
Regarding the name of the pirate area, there was a famous part of Port Royal called "Gallow's Point", so I thought "Sparrow's Point" could work nicely. A little less morbid.
All of your videos are incredible! This one is just amazing. I️ really like when you slow down some of your recording for a particular piece of the build to show a specific thought process, but I️ also understand the tough balance between too fast and too slow. Keep up the amazing work!!
If you haven't gotten a name for the log flume ride, you should call it "Blackbeard's Blockade" after the pirate Blackbeard's take over and blockade of Charles Town in May of 1718. His crew sat in ships outside of the port and they stopped and ransacked any vessel that attempted to sail past Charles Town Bar. I think this fits in perfect with what you have designed. More details can be found here, on the wiki page: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackbeard under the Blockade of Charles Town header. Also gives a good name for your fort/port area (Charles Town).
I really love the way you listen to your viewers and take action accordingly, well done!! I wish I had 8-12 hours to play!!! Love your design and explaining your thinking so we can see how you come to your end results, just awesome, thanks for sharing.
Hey Jonti, do you think it would be cool if they updated the game to have back areas for staff? Like break rooms, an employee entrance, goods entrances, construction crews, and all that?
Camera movements are much better in this video :) And yes, 20-30 minutes is a good length for these types of videos. About the bushes.. Ever tried using them upside down? Saw (Silvaret i think ?) do it and it works wonder for how the light and shadows works.
If you put a sign with text a bit into another board the text will stick out so you can read the text on another board that normally can't have text on it.
Really like how you designed the rum racers sign it looks great. Also how about using a scenery or a art piece to make shark fins in the water of shark bay reef.
Did I miss a video, or have you snuck the waterfall in off camera at 20:26? Also those fences on your path are still messed up from when the update dropped.
Just out of curiosity, how long is the queue time to wait for the go-carts? I'm guessing, based on the very long track length plus the enormous queue, we're talking 3 or 4 hours minimum.
My god Jonti. How DO you end up with so much imaginairy creation juice? I would spend all my cash on that GoKart track. And I WISH, the blueprint limit would be 10.000, so you could upload that piece in a whole. Haha!
lmao i just watched the other vid and was like "hmm i wonder if hes made the next one yet" (im not a sub) and see the next vid there, with only 6 views

"Light theming"
But the entire Go-Kart area is *HEAVILY* themed.

Thank you so much for the great ideas

re train station? OR....maybe a TREEHOUSE theme? Kind of a la the Swiss Family Robinson treehouse at Disney? Then the box-on-stilts would work.
Maybe you can make a short video of how the track looks in first person! It is an idea;)
@Geekism You should add a shark fin on the back of the shark. Like if you agree.
Hey Geekism, Sharkbait Reef is the aquarium at Alton Towers.
Regarding the name of the pirate area, there was a famous part of Port Royal called "Gallow's Point", so I thought "Sparrow's Point" could work nicely. A little less morbid.
Loving this series and love the shark scenery !!
In the U.S., I've often seen animatronics that were weatherproofed, so I'd say leave the animations on.
At 20:16 on the left side the fences seem to have gotten a little messed up

Shark looks awesome and loved the Rocktopus sign as well.
Je parle pas anglais mais je peux te dire que se que tu fais est génial!
Great video Jonty
You should of put the rocktopus over water and put the animatronic kraken arms around it but without the head!
Great looking karts area, Good work!

Pls make a classic part of this
This is probably my favorite park I have ever seen on planet coaster
Thank You :D
Yay, I was wondering if you'd add a dueling coaster to this park/area.
The shark set piece looks great. I love it!
This was amazing
+Tony Pimienta Thank you!
Why did you place 2 Whirly Rigs? What's your next area going to be? You should do a Fairytale area with lots of canyons and elevation.
I really love the way you listen to your viewers and take action accordingly, well done!! I wish I had 8-12 hours to play!!! Love your design and explaining your thinking so we can see how you come to your end results, just awesome, thanks for sharing.
+Mr MACC Thanks for watching :) I'm glad you're enjoying the series!
Happy to be back into this relaxing series after going through the hell that was Miss Elly's Diner
when did he make the waterfall?
Hey Jonti, do you think it would be cool if they updated the game to have back areas for staff? Like break rooms, an employee entrance, goods entrances, construction crews, and all that?
Would be Awesum to see what you come up with
Sharkbait Reef is the SeaLife aquarium at Alton Towers :)
love what you did with the shark!
When do you think it will be done, because this is a really realistic detailed park and I love it!
Geekism your amazing at building
Shark bait reef is also a aquarium at a theme park in the UK called Alton towers
You should call it "Pirate Bay" - homage to the torrent website!
Another video of the main park? What have we've done to be blessed by this unexpected video, he never releases planet coaster videos this quickly.
This is great! Keep it up Geekism😃
+Silja s Hinrichsen Thanks!
Ride the rum racers when you finished the whole built
It's looking great.
Jungle Cruise uses outdoor animatronics.
+Scott C oh yeah! Good shout!

About the bushes.. Ever tried using them upside down? Saw (Silvaret i think ?) do it and it works wonder for how the light and shadows works.
Loving this! Given me some ideas for theming etc.
7:30 I SO hope weather becomes part of the game eventually!
+Marcus Dorsey I'm sure it will!

your go-karts look so so amazing :) mine are just boring in comparison lol O_O
Really like how you designed the rum racers sign it looks great. Also how about using a scenery or a art piece to make shark fins in the water of shark bay reef.

Did I miss a video, or have you snuck the waterfall in off camera at 20:26? Also those fences on your path are still messed up from when the update dropped.
+William Baker it was briefly filmed at the start of the last go karts video :)
I'll have to go back and watch that then. 😀
Just out of curiosity, how long is the queue time to wait for the go-carts? I'm guessing, based on the very long track length plus the enormous queue, we're talking 3 or 4 hours minimum.
This looks great! I'm planning on getting Planet Coaster soon so I can attempt to do stuff like this! :D And because I think it's fun of course.
+SasquatchGamez it's very fun! You'll have a blast!
My god Jonti. How DO you end up with so much imaginairy creation juice?
I would spend all my cash on that GoKart track.
And I WISH, the blueprint limit would be 10.000, so you could upload that piece in a whole. Haha!
+Maarten Lunenborg Thank you! Sometimes, I have creative blocks occasionally... but 1.2 has given me a huge boost!
Hey Geekism,
I really enjoyed your build off videos, is that something that we may see in the future?
Thanks!
+alex stetson I'm not sure that was me XD
you should do shark vs cracken
Can you make dino animatronic, pls?(Sorry for my english, Im from Czech Republic)
I started freaking out at shark bay reef (or whatever it was called) and I had to be saved by a life guard. 😐
Is there a way of downloading this park
Not yet! It'll go onto steam when it's done :)
yay
Do you do no collision @Geekism
+Snagelpus12 / Gaming Yeah :) it really opens the game up :)
Can you teach us how to develop creativity...?
lmao i just watched the other vid and was like "hmm i wonder if hes made the next one yet" (im not a sub) and see the next vid there, with only 6 views
Will the guests actually sit on those custom benches you made?
