I love that Naked belt. You can't overstate how valuable the yellow tabs are for getting into the pockets and the huge number of sizes made it the first belt that actually fit me well.
With the Naked belt, firstly you can easily peel off the big logo stuck on the mesh, but not the little ones. Kieran is not wearing it "correctly", there are 2 side pockets and one back pocket. The side pockets wrap around to to the front. But the way kieran uses it, he turns it so there is one front pocket, this makes it so you can't use the race toggles and the pole holders. I use this when I want to hold 2 500ml soft flasks as there is very little bounce, even when I do intervals. I use the kiprun belt when I want to use 250ml soft flasks but they bounce a lot more than the naked belt
(Kieran here) beauty of the naked belt is you can wear it a few different ways and it changes the functionality. So I often wear it big pocket at the front because that’s where I keep my phone and a few other essentials. But good thing is you can spin it if you want to attach a race number (I’m not a fan of race numbers on belts) or stash poles.
I got the naked belt and wear it with one up front (phone) and then two sides. Just the way I prefer it. I’m probably near 1000 miles using mine and the letters are peeling but I have mine under my top so it’s not even visible.
(Kieran here) Been wearing it for almost 2 years, wore it across Europe, wear it around London, even at school pick up. No one has ever commented or even noticed I don't think. But if it's not someone's bag then that's cool too. But it is a good belt.
re: The Evadict Trail Running Belt, is there enough room for a soft flask in the back and one in the front ideally with a phone in the zip pocket as well? Interestingly on the product page they only mention being able to fit a 500ml soft flask in the front pocket (i.e. the opposite way round Nick mentions). I'm looking to have 1 flask with a concentrated fuel in and 1 with plain water, this looks like it might be perfect! Great video as always, big fan of all The Run Testers videos and the podcast! I've purchased a serious number of products based on your recommendations.
In my experience 500ml does fit in the back but as it bounces about like mad it can fall out. Personally I 'modified' mine with some plastic snap fasteners added to the top of the pouch/top of belt - still bounces about with 500ml but at least it doesn't fall out. Also, I've recently purchased an Aonijie 2.5 vest and although I've only taken it out for one 12k 'test run' I can tell I'm going to prefer it to taking a belt with that much liquid - might be worth looking into.
Hello, regarding the Evadict Trail Belt, yes it meant for trail runs, but would it moonlight! as a marathon belt - looks like it would, but value your opinion.
I was debating the Evadict or their Kiprun, but then the Evadict had loops for the poles so it’s extra flappy material. Just want one for a marathon run too…
@@TheRunTesters well you had multiple requests in the last belt video the number 1 requested i think. it's kind of similar to naked belt but it's one big pocket instead of 3
@@TheRunTestersVoted top belt by Loyd on Run4Adventure. Horses for courses, as with most running kit! I find it great but not perfect. Considering the Instinct belt when my current belt falls apart (it's fraying a lot).
I had the same problem with the Compressport Pro belt though it's still one of better belts IMO. Naked being my first choice. The big difference to be between the 2 is the Naked is much more hydrophobic which is key.
the naked one could be really nice despite the stupid branding. and most belts really pffer no secure place for the phone. and yes I want the freedom to bring it when I want to. Also phone AND bottle seems to be problematic, too. I love my Hoka belt. Altough I wish I could get my hands on the discontinued one. But the Hoke one is phone-problematic too
Don't have a link but! The adidas terrex shorts are nice . The mizuno 360 pocket dry are insane And the new nike trail tights are nice aswell . Anyway when shopping for a short like this make sure it has a drawstring and a bit of a higher waist model . Hope this helps
I don’t know if you can get in the UK but Shredders by Rabbit have a built in belt - I have been using over my naked belt for short runs - it’s just way simpler.

It's a great belt.
Lol, now i want the Naked Belt just for the logo.
I can carry 2 500ml soft flasks in my naked belt. If you get the sizing right there is very little bounce, that you can feel anyway

TIP: If you use soft flasks on the sides, reduces a lot of the bounce since it wraps around
Stride Running Belt is a great option if you prefer a sleek, lightweight and compact solution!
One question to that TNF Summit Run Race Ready - what model of Pixel Pro do you have?
If the belt is good I wouldn’t care what they call it! Not like I’d run past anyone who’d care or try and read it.

I couldn't quite hear the precision code. Also I can't find the link you said to hit. Please can you give the precision hydration code

For all who have tested any of these, which one doesn't bounce and doesn't squeeze the belly?

Yep it would be a great marathon belt
@TheRunTesters Perfect will give it a go in training runs. Decent value too.

entirely agree on the naked branding, this is the main reason I've not gone one yet .. also availability in Canada is limited
If you wear a jacket or a tee it's pretty much covered.
hi i live in Norway how do i get hold of evadict trail running hydration belt ?
What about the compressport free belt pro?
Not tested that one. Is it good?

I’ve (Nick) used that one and wasn’t a huge fan-my stuff tended to push together in the big pocket!

The naked and Flipbelt both hold phones securely.
Thx - what 500ml bottles do you use that don’t leak in a belt?
The decathlon ones has a twist lock, but the waterflow isn't as fast as hydrapak which leaks when you put pressure on the mouth piece
No Compressport Free Belt Pro????
Not tested that one.
Anyone have a link to the ‘storage shorts’ video?

Following, just because I was about to ask the same question.
@@fabsterun huge fan of the Evadict ones. Can hold 2 x 90g gels + 3 x 30g one’s pretty easily. Not quite enough storage for a 250ml bottle though.
