    Extend the the lift points and move the rear ones a little forward, then you can make the very back of it hinge, and or removable so you can drop it out of the way for rear tire swaps, especially for cruisers with longer rear fenders. Nice idea though

    Wow! That's genius! I have that lift already. Off to the hardware store. I think I will extend the arms to make it go higher.

    • @woden20
      @woden20 7 років тому +1

      That was exactly word for word what i was gonna say, even to extend the arms for a bit more height. lol

      Tossed Salad and Scrambled Eggs Yes!! And maybe a 60" table with a leg spacing at about 50". This table was a bit too long in my opinion.

    • @k.t.8084
      @k.t.8084 4 роки тому

      And you will lose some of the lifting power perhaps if you extend the arms?

    I like the concept, but concerned about the narrow footprint/foundation of the lift? 😲
    I have a 2016 Victory Cross Country Tour and want something wider and more sturdy! Great quick video though!

    My brain was approaching that idea when I went to the local tool and equipment dealer, we only have one in my whole province. I looked at a huge professional grade lift for 500 bucks, and the same jack you have for 150, then I thought why not adapt the small one, it has locking dogs rated high enough, but before I had time to conceptualize my idea I popped on you tube and saw this rather milenial style video with cool blues in the background, what's not to like? slightly modded to suit my requirements, wala.
