Thankyou Thank-you I always seem to buy old heavy bikes & working on the ground here in wet cold Galway Ireland I made it with 30mm box tubing and its awesome!
Extend the the lift points and move the rear ones a little forward, then you can make the very back of it hinge, and or removable so you can drop it out of the way for rear tire swaps, especially for cruisers with longer rear fenders. Nice idea though
That's what I was thinking....maybe a couple of steel slider legs that drop down in place as the table is being elevated and able to be pulled back up with cord as table is being let back down??? Saw that in a few diy vids as well!
Wow! Couldv been an engineer at Apple or FB poisoning us with further social media products but chose to make jigamijigs like wooden jacks..........brilliant chap! cheers
PrometheanLiver thank you very much. again the lift looks awesome. I will be gathering the pieces to fabricate one. specially that it doesn't require any welding.
I like the concept, but concerned about the narrow footprint/foundation of the lift? 😲 I have a 2016 Victory Cross Country Tour and want something wider and more sturdy! Great quick video though!
Love it; if our supply chain continues sloughing-off much longer, Plan ‘B’ has now revealed itself. Hm..I could same $2000.00 USD and take on another motorcycle project!
My brain was approaching that idea when I went to the local tool and equipment dealer, we only have one in my whole province. I looked at a huge professional grade lift for 500 bucks, and the same jack you have for 150, then I thought why not adapt the small one, it has locking dogs rated high enough, but before I had time to conceptualize my idea I popped on you tube and saw this rather milenial style video with cool blues in the background, what's not to like? slightly modded to suit my requirements, wala.
Wow, nice idea/execution! But keep using a grinder/cut-off wheel without gloves and eye protection and you may regret it someday. I've seen things just saying.
Short and sweet. No wasting time watching drilling and sawing. Nicely done project and nicely done on the editing, too!
Great idea. The simplest diy I’ve seen on UA-cam. Good job!
THAT’S THE MOST AWESOMEST VIDEO EVER!!!!! Best part is it’s cheap, not 300 pounds and can be mad portable! I will buy that jack this weekend.
Do you think i can put a goldwing on ??
I love that 1987/1986 Kawasaki Ninja 250 you used to demo the lift.
Thankyou Thank-you I always seem to buy old heavy bikes & working on the ground here in wet cold Galway Ireland
I made it with 30mm box tubing and its awesome!
Well ...what a great Idea, thank's and full credit to you...,I was looking for an alternative way to lift my heavy cruiser and this is it ! cheers
This is still the best lift build I've seen!
Thanks for the inspiration I just finished creating mine from this video. Beats spinning $450 bucks.
Nice video thank you,I have one of those jacks and will make one thank you great idea!
Very cool DIY hack. So simple and yet very effective!
Very good. Give the man a gold star. Thank you, sir.

Awesome ! It can be taken down for storage, in just a few minutes. Great job !
Wow! That's genius! I have that lift already. Off to the hardware store. I think I will extend the arms to make it go higher.
That was exactly word for word what i was gonna say, even to extend the arms for a bit more height. lol
Tossed Salad and Scrambled Eggs Yes!! And maybe a 60" table with a leg spacing at about 50". This table was a bit too long in my opinion.
And you will lose some of the lifting power perhaps if you extend the arms?
@@k.t.8084 Exactly. Thanks for mentioning that. Most people would not realize this when extending the arms.
hey did you do this? and did the extension work? thanks @@woden20
So cool! a brilliant idea, starting mine tomorrow!
Excellent for a lightweight motorcycle. But will I carry + 500 lbs ?
This is awesome, especially the soundtrack! What's the song in the background?
Great job, how high is the final working height? Thanks
Good job man and thanks for the quick demo , now off to make my own
The best idea i found in UA-cam. Greeting from ARgentina
Simple and effective! NICE WORK!!
C'est une excellente idée !!!
Je vais faire pareil.
Merci !!
👍🏻
Best one I've seen yet. PS - I wore those same boots in Iraq
MickLawless thanks! Those are the Nike first responders. Got 'em at marshals for $40 and they're some of the best shoes I've ever put on my feet.
Hey, what year is that ninja 250?
I love that retro drill!
Retro drill????
It looks like it’s from the 70’s. Don’t you think?
Interesting idea.
Can you tell me the measurements and the parts list please
Hey I'm thinking about doing that. Anybody have any idea on how to make it wider? It looks like it's only as wide as the two arms?
Just cut the top sheet wider and add some outriggers for stability
well your some man real simple a mighty job i.m going to make one myself, minimal work does the job, fair play great job
I love the old black and Decker drill!
Genius. I am off to do one but I would put more support in the middle :)
That's what I was thinking....maybe a couple of steel slider legs that drop down in place as the table is being elevated and able to be pulled back up with cord as table is being let back down??? Saw that in a few diy vids as well!

Best one so far ... great job my guy
Just curious, how come you didn't add steel tubing on the top beneath the platform?
Gracias por el video desde españa . lo voy a frabricar para lebantar una BMW k 1200 S .
I like the way you think! we think alike...😂😂😂 I built the same table almost the same way. 👍👍
Outstanding! Heading out to my garage now.
What brand jack did you start with
Simple things always the best (I was exactly thinking about something like tha) goood stuff.
What year is that bike?
Can u use steel instead of wood, especially for that frame jack
That's the cleverest thing i've watch this month!
this is awesome. I will be making one just like it. great job
Hello, can you tell us what size did you use for the square tube?
I made one and used 30mm or 1' 1/8th
Great job, cool video.
wow that good idea too :)
thanks for sharing
Brilliantly simple and ingenious, but I would add some outrigger feet to stop it toppling over, excellent work again well done👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏👏👏
Man, that stand looks really good.
Great job.
Awesome. Awesome awesome stuff.
sweet!
i thought 'this is going to be bollox', and how wrong i was.
great job, man.
nice edit on the vid, too.
Brilliant, Even I could do that conversion. Definitely 5 stars.
lift looks great man. what type of square tubing did you use?
Moha Bens 1.5" x 1.5" square tubing from Home Depot
ok man thanks. how about the thickness of the tubing if you don't mind?
Moha Bens 1/8" I believe.
PrometheanLiver thank you very much. again the lift looks awesome. I will be gathering the pieces to fabricate one. specially that it doesn't require any welding.

Already have the atv/ motorcycle lift. Looks like I’m heading to scrap metal pile to make one aswell, shouldn’t take more than an hour or two

Brilliant! Wish I had thought of that.
Song?
Hey man, are you trying to hypnosis the viewers?? Lol, thanks for the video.
You are one savy mechanic
Sweet idea man, is it still holding up good?
TAN MAN it’s holding up a GS1100 right now!
can any one say what type of lift is that?
Prabu Business it’s an ATV lift
Does,nt look like it lifts more than a couple of feet off the ground.
genius idea 👍
Love the soundtrack
I never comment on videos but this one was pretty a cool hack !!!
The idea is great, the 2 minutes a bit understated.
Why the hell are you all working on the floor crawling around like Fred Flintstone ??
Tom Tom // Just moved in. That lift was the fourth object in that garage after three motorcycles.
Love it. Great ingenuity. Now I just need to find the hydraulic lift for free. ;-)
That's really cool!
BRILLIANT!
Also. Very genius!
Wow, nice idea/execution! But keep using a grinder/cut-off wheel without gloves and eye protection and you may regret it someday. I've seen things just saying.
