[Civil Procedure] Pre-trial in civil cases, Rule 18 of the Rules of Court (Video7)

- Pre-trial is mandatory. This is when parties lay their cards on the table. They make admissions, agree on legal and factual issues, reveal their evidence, and agree on trial dates. The goal of pre-trial is to put future proceedings in order, and to facilitate the trial.
God bless you as you study law and prepare for the bar exam.

Thank you so much Atty., I am a legal management student and I still find studying civpro very complex and hard. Your teachings are very helpful po. Maraming salamat
Thank you. That's very encouraging.
Hi Prof. Chato, thank you so much for all of your lectures. You simplified a difficult law subject, so helpful to all of us law students. I hope you are doing well with your health despite of the kidney problem, we definitely appreciate you!
Thank you so much for this po. Lecturers using the same mode, thinks that we are all brilliant. Give rules to study, recit next meeting. Wala sila nito. Nasa lecturer lang talaga ang kagustuhan na mag turo ❤️ I love all of your lectures po.
Thanks for this type of teaching/explaining the ROC. The pacing and the simplistic use of English n Pilipino in d delivery of d provisions is very fut to me who is no longer young and prefers ""slower mode" of discussion on legal matters..
Very clear and very useful Atty. Thanks very much po.
Thank you for your encourargng words.

Wow
Thank you.
Gd morning atty.❤
Good morning, Cherry Ann.
Thank you so much Professor Atty. Olivas. You're a great professor. I have a question, please. In special proceedings, are the parties still required to submit pre-trial briefs? If so, will Section 5 apply if the Petitioner/counsel fail to submit their pre-trial brief?
A lot better than my prof whose idea of teaching is simply to read from a book. That's 5 units I paid down the drain.
I am happy to be of help to you.
Thank you po☺️
Thanks din, Paulo.
Love na kita atty. God bless po

Thank you mam, do you have lecture in Art 56 of the civil procedure

Art. 56 of NCC us about who may officiate marriages. That has already been superseded by the Family Code. Do you mean Article 36 of the Family Code on psychological incapacity?
