You will learn about indispensable, necessary, representative, alternative and other types of parties to civil actions under Philippine civil procedure. You will also learn the requisites for impleading persons as parties, rules on impleading spouses as parties, the effect of misjoinder or non-joinder of parties, requisite for a class suit, and when to implead the Solicitor General.
NOTE: This is based on Rule 3 (not Rule 4) of the Rules of Court as amended. In the video, I mistakenly said Rule 4. Apologies, my friends.

Pwede po bang lawyer lang ang umattend ng hearing sa civil case?

Hi. Depende sa stage ng kaso. Sa pre-trial dapat mag attend ang plaintiff and defendant pati mga lawyers nila. Sa ibang stages hindi kailangan unless i-require ng judge. Kung mag-te-testify of course dapat mag attend.

Ano po ang mangyayari kung ang defendant sa real estate civil case ay pumanaw na? Dismiss na ba ang kaso at kailangan i-file ulit ang kaso para habulin naman yung mga tagapagmana ng mga properties.
