- Available in either skeleton or solid dial variants, as well as with a leather strap or bracelet, the Rotary Regent promises a decent mechanical watch to the masses thanks to Rotary’s impressive high street exposure. Are the masses getting a decent watch for their money? Or are they being duped out of £329? Let’s find out.

1 month later and I'm still Loving this watch. Haven't a bad thing to say about it
I bought one of these in November last year, a good solid back up watch for my Tag Heuer 👍
Very beautiful classy stylish I love it.👍
I got a skeleton Rotary watch 3 years ago. I was not wearing it until now. After one month the winding crown disattached from the stem. I managed to screw it back, but its not setting hands properly, skipping some of the hours. Then the self winding mechanism stopped winding the watch. When I'm winding it manually, power reserve stays for 24 h. I have no warranty on that watch as it was a gift. Very disappointing, that just after one month of using it all falls apart. However, there is one good thing about this watch. The time accuracy is fenomenal, no more than 30 seconds ahead a month!
I have a dream that one day the watch world will be free of Gerald Genta vibes 😉
Great review. Would others recommend this watch? What about for a woman?
just bought this today for £207 well happy with it.
Where did you get yours from at that price please
@@abole01 women's version of the watch is cheaper than mens
What is the Width/Lug to Lug measurement?
Well delivered with a good speaking voice. We'll done on a mere 2. Erms & Errs overall. I'd place you as being a Midlander or marginally further north.
I've been offered one of these for pennies. Thanks for the technicals. Is it ETA Selitta or Myota please?
thanks very much, and you're pretty bang on! I'm born and bred Rugby, Warwickshire - the definition of Midlands :)
The movement is a Miyota 8N24
What’s the strap like? Is it light and flimsy or heavy and firm? Thanks
And is the watch heavy overall?
It’s quite heafty and very firm strap
👍🏻
I yave Rotary vintage watch shelf winding 🙂👌👍♥️🇲🇰
Like a Toyota engine put inside a Mercedes.
Great analogy.
Is that good or bad?
@@Don-bx4gw sounds bad, like putting a robin reliant engine in a Ferrari but I can't afford a Ferrari or Mercedes so I'll take a cheap engine with a nice frame ha
That'd be great lol toyotas are way more reliable than mercs
What the 2JZ? Cause he'll I'd take that!!
wtf -15 a day ..
Oh dear, just when you think that Rotary could be pulling their socks up and climbing the ladder. They land on a massive snake and it’s all the way down into a huge void. Really wish I could say something more positive, but it’s almost like they were given a budget and aimed way too high. What a shame. 😕
It's a swiss watch brand but it uses Japanese movement Miyota by Citizen Group. Not worth it
HAH cheapest of the cheap movement.. hard pass
Very ugly dial ....very ugly bracelet. Not for me
15 seconds gain PER DAY? that watch is certified TRASH.
Even gaining 15 seconds per MONTH is bad, but EACH DAY..... I wouldn't even spend £20 on that garbage.
