We're at the stage of capitalism where you can slap your billboard onto a video game character/weapon and people will then pay you to look at it. Edit: Also, this is a phenomenal deep dive, and Nugget elevated the experience a TON.
Banger video, why do you have so little subs???? Anyways I'm not even done watching the video but this makes me cringe so hard because I play the sims and that game is a monetization special hell. The sims franchise has always been so bad with their paid dlc and all but ea has really outdone themselves with the sims 4 lmao I think the current game plus all dlc costs around 1800€? It's kind of insane. And like... Yeah you don't need to buy all that but the really insane thing is that they have packs that are broken to this day even though they've been released ages ago. They don't even include the sims expansions in their satisfaction guarantee lol so you're just stuck with a broken pack that will break your game at worst. They also have this habit of just stretching shit out. A pack that was one 35€ expansion pack for the sims 4 will be 2 full expansions for what 45€?, a game pack for 20€ and them some other tiny packs for 5-10€ 😭 so you would have to pay like 150€ for something that still sucks more than a 35€ bucks experience in the previous game. God I hate this timeline, this is why I avoid most triple a companies lmao
