I am not usually very "Budget-minded," but I went ahead and ordered a few things that I thought I would be needing - and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the items!
If you have been watching my tutorials for a while, this design should be familiar, but I have designed it for those who are looking for inexpensive ideas and ways to use all of the fun items they can find on Temu!
You Can Make This!
Supplies:
For faces: 20mm round wood head bead - "100pcs Natural Round Wood Beads" $5.88 on Temu,
Wood Burning Tool, Red Acrylic Paint, Bamboo Skewer, Fine-point permanent brown marker, Cosmetic blush, Cotton Swab, Paper towel,
For dress: 4x12-inch strip of neutral fabric,
Assorted laces: " 24 yards lace ribbon (2 yards each)" $11.98 on Temu,
Tulle - "25 yards x 15cm Tulle Roll Spool Beige" on Temu,
One yard of 1/16-inch wide cream-colored satin ribbon,
Hot Glue Gun, Scissors, Sewing Machine, Thread to match fabrics and trims, Hand-sewing needle, Quilting thread,
Flower trim: "1 Bunch Small Faux Rose, Faux Flower Wedding Decoration" $1.18 from Temu,
20-gauge gold wire, wire cutters,
One piece of 8.5 x 11-inch card stock,
Assorted sheets of 3.3 x 4.9-inch vintage-design scrapbook paper - "100 sheets Vintage Scrapbook Paper Non-sticky Journaling Paper DIY Craft Supplies Color B" $3.18 from Temu,
Die cutting machine and a 4-inch scalloped circle die OR just trace around a CD!
Spray adhesive,

I subscribed a few videos ago today. Binge watching. Thanks so much for the details in the tutorials. Im going to look up your little paper cutter. Im really old school. Use just scissors, vintage sewing machines. Cant warrant spending a lot of money for gadgets but wouldnt mind a small one to make shapes.

Hi Laura, That's an impressive haul you received from Temu! The laces are really pretty. I particularly like the "rumored flower letter" paper you used for the wings and the collage technique you used to create the wings. The color scheme is subtle and masterful. Just love your adorable little angels! 💗

Where can I find the loopy mohair yarn that you use on this angel. I just love them all!
Hi Laura! I purchase yarn from Weircrafts on Etsy. They have loopy mohair (called “boucle,”) and fuzzy mohair in many lovely shades. I like the “natural!”
