I really like your Yuletide Christmas angel! She looks so old fashioned. Hits the spot. Comforting. And looks much easier to make. Thank you!
@@cindybenjamin9607 thank you Cindy!
Thank you so much for this tutorial! My skirt is a little too big on my waist and I wondered if you had any advice on tailoring it post sewing to fit?
@@maecrampton8232 Hi Mae! Neckties are very limited in sizes - you can have 14 ties and it’s too small, but adding only one tie makes it too big! Try to collect ties of varying widths. Before adding the last tie and the waistband, try on the skirt (the best you can!) Estimate the measurement for the final tie and search for it in your stash to finish your skirt. If it’s a little tight it sits higher on your waist. A little loose fits lower. You can also try styling with a sweater or other layers to improve the fit. Have fun sewing, and thank you for watching my video!
wow what a great project - I really appreciate your video!
Do you have measurements for the wings? Trying to have an idea to make them. Thank you.
@@RitzWhiz Hi Ritz! A 4.5-inch circle, folded in half will work! You can make this!

I don't know how I missed so many of your videos!? I left off at the Pixie Noel series. Another pretty angel you have created! I love the lace on the bottom of the dress! We finally got a Hobby Lobby closer to us so I'm thinking of seeing what's there as I need to start thinking about Christmas ornaments. I want to make the angels for my granddaughters but need to figure out what to do for the grandsons. I'll have to look through your videos to get some ideas. Thank you for sharing! 😊

I like your videos so cute thank you
Do you hand wash the pieces before you use them?
Hi Linda! Sometimes I wash vintage lace, but first I check by smelling. Often I can tell that it is fresh and clean. If it doesn’t smell fresh or looks dirty or stained, I use a plastic dishpan and some warm water and gentle soap. I swish the lace, squeeze out the soap, repeat several times, rinse with clear water and lay flat on a towel to dry.
I have a question. I am a crafter and want to make these to sell BUT can you wash them in the washer when dirty?
I use “Dryel” the home dry-cleaning product. It works!
nice clear instructions nice clear instructions
