I have been dead set on an SX+ for a long time. Went down to my Kia dealer yesterday to have a chat and potentially order. An SX was parked right next to the SX+ and on closer inspection the SX had everything I wanted and nearly $6k cheaper than the SX+. Now I have an SX in graphite grey on order and for anyone from Aus reading and interested in delivery times at the time of this post I have been quoted 3-5 months but definitely less than 6 for petrol regardless of trim. Diesel apparently you're looking at about 9.
I live in the USA and my wife drives one of these it’s an SX Prestige hybrid model and I drive a 2022 Kia Sorento SX Prestige both amazing cars Kia’s has come along way in the recent years
Dam thing is underpowered sure the old 2.0 na done a ok job on the previous gen Sportage but this gen is bigger and heavier I'd hate to see the power to weight figures probably 65kw p tonn

Ample tech ..but with that front end treatment it comes over a bit faceless, with the rear trying a bit too hard. More characterless than the previous version and about as aspirational as an appliance.
Kias are JUNK! I've been selling them since 2008, they come off the truck with 4 miles, blown engines wont shift, dashboard not working, worst road noise ever on highway STAY AWAY FROM KIA.
@@janetshabani-qu7hq . My reply was aimed at Joseph M3 . He admits to selling Junk and advices to stay away from them ,yet is more than happy to rip off the unsuspecting customer .

We have the SX petrol, it’s a great car, but the engine is a bit shy.

I have the exact same model. Colour is different though. Love the car, though engine could have been better. Perfect for city driving though

How much you paid with on road ?
We opted for the next model up (SX Plus-diesel) it comes with just a few more luxuries. I am sad on missing out on the pano roof though!
