- We awoke three weeks ago after more than a decade of nothingness. Demo World Station was suddenly alive again. Some of us failed to survive the great slumber, but those of us that did reveled in in our play once more. Realms thought long forgotten were re-explored, strange creatures frolicked through beautiful, if poorly rendered, landscapes. Sadly, such things are never meant to last. Suddenly, the station was torn in half, then half once more. We now drift into sleep anew. Some say we may yet wake again, but I know better. Still, as I fade, I cherish our brief rebirth, while hopelessly pondering what strange gods resolve our fates.

Bruce has come a long way. I remember when he wanted to breeze through Demos with a 15 minute timer so they could wrap up the discs. Now he's sobbing over Demo World. They grow up so fast.
Demo world will be remembered and honered. So sad, and yet so beautiful.

Jazz Jackrabbit 2 was the first game I ever played. I was so happy when it looked like the Rule 34 was going to be missed with it. Now my earliest childhood memory is taken by rabbit incest. Great.

Starcraft was probably 75% of my early teenage years, god, just hearing those noises is making me go through some PTSD flashbacks and I can slowly feel my hand reaching for a StimPack.
I feel like with the breaking of that disc. A hero just died.

Still gotta say that this is my favorite Demo Disk. The Cliffy B and Nelly bits made me laugh. The ending of demo world with Bruce and the description made me cry.

God i remember playing jazz jackrabbit on pcs in school in the early 2000s.
I loved the rabbit game when i was a kid, always played it at my friends house.

Best demo disc ever! My nostalgia was off the charts on this one. Jazz Jackrabbit! I played that on my first "gaming" computer in 1995. (A Compaq Presario Pentium 100mhz...Lawrence).

I used to watch every Let's Play episode - now I haven't watched one in in months but I've seen every episode of Demo Disk...
I remember when Jazz Jackrabbit came out and everyone thought it was cool. Luckily I'm an alcoholic, so eventually I'll kill that part of my brain.
Jazz have a higher jump ability and Spaz can kick through, there was also that Yellow girl rabbit I think she could hover for a while not sure though
