@@ahmadloq8103 my last MINI R56 Cooper was holding up nearly 14yrs. I‘m planning to drive my current S for the next 9-10yrs. The current MINI is bullshit. Sad they killed the brand.
I’ll wait to see what full reviews look like. I do like the extra range and the upgraded screen. I wish it had a more advanced HUD than the little cheap pop up they have here.
Is that a frameless window? Not sure I like that for cold climates with ice etc. Everytime the door opens does the window need to drop down a little bit??? But I guess they assume everyone is able to preheat car I am not sure will be always practical. But we shall see in time.
I have the "old" one Cooper SE and all the interior quality is better, the exterior looks fine, but still prefer the F56. The only thing I like more is the battery capacity and the new circular screen. Not enougth for want to buy it in a three and half years. Besides the price is ridiculous, Mini mades this model in China, the material are cheaper, the construction are cheaper, why is more expensive? I don't understand nothing...
The price is too high. Only £9,000 less than the base Model 3 (a luxury high performance car) and £5,000 more than the Chinese-made MG4. I think the reason is they are moving production back to Oxford for the Cooper once the factory has been re-tooled. The price is probably set by UK production costs NOW so they don't have to change it later. That's only a best-guess.
@@mihaicostinpetcu if they continue to do that with BMW, I will continue to avoid that brand too. I drive BMW 5 series since almost 37 years now. I own a 520 i E 34 (1990) a 535 (2015) an a Mini One (2019). But then - if BMW continues this bullshit all over - my next car will be a Mercedes !
@@polkanet I'm working for the german car industry. And since 2020 all german premium car brands (BMW, Mercedes, Audi) are decreasing the quality of their cars. Myself, I own a BMW X1 2023 U11 20i (I regret buying it - a total failure) and an Audi A3 Sportback 2015 8V (a real pleasure to drive).
@polkanet I feel responsible to bring arguments why I said: "BMW X1 2023 U11 20i (I regret buying it - a total failure)". First my car came with their new IDrive 9 (Android based) that is the same as the new Mini Cooper J01. (1) The problem of IDrive 9 is that Apple Car Play loose connection each 2-3 minutes and is unusable. (2) The BMW navigation show my current position with a delay of about 10 seconds and is unusable in city traffic. (3) The IDrive 9 takes about 40 seconds to load after I start the car. Since I don't wait that much and I start driving I have to stop later to load my driver profile (since it is not loaded while the care moves). My dealer said they are waiting for un update for this but in 2 months nothing yet. (4) My X1 was produced in November 2023 and since July 2023 they went crazy with cost cutting measures: no glovebox light, no door sills, less insulation on doors and actually all over the car, trim some deposit box in the trunk, thinner paint that starts to scratch way to easy because of road sand and little stones (I can see the metal on both left and right front doors). (5) My car came with an issue that the driver door windows buttons didn't work because of electrical wiring and after 3 months it is not properly solved (Some times work but most of the time didn't work). (6) Since they work on the windows issue many times, everything start to rattle on the Driver's door and steering wheel area (The dealer said that the clips breaks too easy and remain stuck in the door forever ... ). (7) I have the 20i - sDrive engine (european version) 170hp mild hybrid (154hp and 19hp electric) and the gearbox is very sluggish (Dealer said un update is coming ... ).
The entire reason to buy a mini is based on the driving experience. That disappears when you put a generic electric motor in it. May as well just buy a Bolt or Model 3. The car isn't even small anymore. Almost as big as a normal sedan at this point.
@@jxp56646 The industry overall is really forcing their hand here with the electronics and computerized features. Customers expect all that these days from a modern car starting at 30k going up to 50k+. I don't really have an issue with the interior. I just don't like how they're taking away all the mechanical and physical things that made this car unique. It's no longer small, and soon it won't even come in a manual transmission. That's a real shame for Mini lovers, as that was half the experienc of driving the car.

no it’s not. yall say that every generation. R53, F56, and now F66 are the best looking minis (modern). this color isn’t great but works for a e-car.

Mini countryman to seize in production and slightly scale up the Mini Cooper and add the mini countryman technology to Mini Cooper. 28:49

they always had these lol
Mini have had them for 23 years, nothing new.
It's worse than the Lexus ux250h interior. It looks like a car designed by a 16-year-old girl.

Mini copper is a great car..yet, l wonder why not including these as luxury car..aside from rolls royce, aston martin'....mercedes...BMW..
