This is one of the more memorable tracks and I don't get why they cut it from the album.

Yeah, nearly all the most memorable ones for me were unreleased. It's absolutely wild. I would say I'm surprised it took a couple of weeks for people to get them on youtube - but I think we were all too busy playing the game still 😂

@heartoffire5902 I'm hoping we can easily rip the music with frostbite tools

for some reason game albums have a tendency not to include combat themes

This track gave me absolute chills in The Singing Blade. That prelude into the absolutely shattering things that follow when you do a certain set of side quests - god I love this game.

Just heard this one for the first time and had to come looking for it. Finally a track that has a tragic feel to it, which has been missing from the rest of the game so far.

This is The Heights of Athim, not the hossberg wetlands battle theme. You *do* hear it while fighting Darkspawn, but in the crossroads. Hossberg has a different battle theme.

It seems to be just a Darkspawn combat track in general. Noticed that it played in Arlathan Forest as well, and it does play in multiple Darkspawn fights in Hossberg Wetlands. I'll change the title to be more accurate.

@@jillwarricks Yeah that's a good way to handle the rename. The track is connected to the origin of the Darkspawn, which ties into a certain companion's personal quest line. It plays in a lot of scenarios involving that character's developments, even during the main story. It's tragic and beautiful and chilling when you make the connection and hear it, and consider what it is you're looking at - what it is you're actually fighting.
