i just finished this game last night! its such A GOOD GAME!

I wasnt a fan of this game but hearing lost elf jjst automatically put a smile on my face

Just finished the game and came here to listen to this. The final seconds show, like everyone has already said, Trevor Morris should have been the composer for Veilguard. The score of Veilguard is mediocre and only shines when Morris’ compositions are used, namely, Trespasser, In Hushed Whisper, and the Lost Temple. It’s really sad, as I think Morris alone could have significantly improved the storytelling of this game.

Cannot BELIEVE they put the neutered version of this on the OST instead of my Hell Disco banger.

When he started sobbing in front of Mythal and Inky I just couldn't hold back anymore. He's such a conflicted, confused but deep inside a good person trying to right his wrongs but he does it in every worst way possible.

I loved playing every second of this game. 💜 Big up for Veilguard!!!

The Lost Elf is such a powerful piece of music..... it made me cry all those years ago, it made me cry now. How I wish Veilguard had turned out differently.

Lorne and Zimmer did a good job with the soundtrack. Everyone keeps wishing Trevor returned for it but can probably only name 2 (mainly Lost Elf) songs from the Inquisition soundtrack while I can name 7 tracks from the Veilguard that I liked. Lost Elf was really good, but I can only name 3 other tracks that I enjoyed from Inquisition. It’s unfair to dismiss the Veilguard’s soundtrack for nostalgic’s sake. Both are good in their own ways.

Hello, how did you extract those soundtracks? Trying to do it with Frostbite editor but can't extract them (or even the .toc file).

I played Lucanis and Davrin in my team, so my orders were: - Emmerich with his boyfriend helping the Veil Jumpers. Bellara would be a better option but she was kidnapped and he is also an expert with seals. Boy works in Nevarra full of sealed tombs. - Taash obviously climbing the giant statue. No ones better than they to pull down a big enemy. - Neve killing the Venatori archimage. Lucanis would be a better option but I need him and she has all the experience against Venatori. - I miss you, Harving.

The DAV soundtrack is a banger...in its completed state. For the life of me, among all the strange decisions they made for this game, omitting so much music from the official OST is one of the most perplexing.

MY GOD! I finally found this! When I tell you, I've been searching for this song. I felt like I was trapped in the early 00's, searching the deep net for one specific song! May your feet always be warm, and may your pillow always be cold! <3

I love this variation on the main Veilguard theme. The brass is more brazen, the drums are a lot more driving and the variation on the melody really drives home that the time to act is NOW.

This scene is the sole reason i forgive this game its flaws. The tension and emostions are just incredible. And the whole story makes a lot more sense when you think about it. Rook was basicly going through pain and suffering of loss through entire game. SO maybe his actions of helping people and smiling and sometimes being a goofeball. Was just his copium mechnism. And he didn’t realised it from obvious reasons. This one regret of failing his friend and menthor figure grew over him through the game. Like why he helped Elves in Arlathan. He was regreting that he failed to stop Solas and not saving Varric and he wanted to minimie the damage he caused directly. And this one talk with Tash after her final mission makes now more sense of the way he comforted her as he maybe deeply felt it the same way without realising it. I don’t know if that was the intension of the writers. But IF it wasn’t that either way the message of letting go and dealing with such trauma. I Think this theme of regrets and way of dealing with it is awesome and quite decently executed.

Such a good fight with music that matched the mood perfectly. I had way more trouble with her than I did with Elgar’nan lol

Was the game garbage in my eyes? Yes. Was it absolutely painful for me to play through? Yes. Then at the very end it was 4:00 and I had instand goosebumps. That's exactly what I had missed the whole game, so was it worth it? Yes 🤔😅
