Mine did not require a dealership update flash. Once I had the bike running, the heated grips worked. The heated grips can also be activated using the toggle switch via the bike mode icon.
@@jasonbreedlove495 Definitely go ride one. I LOVED my 2019 Wicked Red Denim RGS but this bike is better in every way single way (except for maybe the color, just can’t escape that WRD…🤣). Can’t wait to rip this bike in the mountains!
Rode one and got a wicked deal. Had to go with Whiskey Fire, just to good looking of a paint. I've added some of the adversary foot controls, as it adds some more pop. Thanks for the videos.
Hi Matt, great video again, thanks! as you might have some insider info: any idea when the “switchback” heated grips will come out? My cvo st just landed here in NL and the st has NO heated grips 🙄, ideally I’d like them to match the rest. And I truly can not understand this isn’t available yet. Any idea? Thanks Maarten
@@FullTankAdventures yup! It took me about 15/20 minutes a side from start to finish. I did use a small piece of painter’s tape to index the controls. Thanks!
@@FullTankAdventures😂 all right, no more shop talk on your personal channel 🫣. Enjoy the preparations of your trip and I really hope you’ll share some of that trip to the Canadian Rockies 🤞🤞😎

@@dougl4680 The only issue I have with them is they are a little larger than I’d like. But the grips are comfortable otherwise. Enjoying them quite a bit.
@@FullTankAdventures Thanks! I found you searching for T bars. As you were driving I knew you were in the southwest metro. I just picked up the exact same bike at Viking Land Saturday. Searching your videos now to see how you like the Road Sofa.
Looking for hand guards like your's and every one I find says for only up to 2023. Can you provide link? I just special ordered the Black CVO grips for mine, as I don't like Gray or the Orange strip on the Adversary line (I have White Onyx on Black).
How much easier is that than the 17-22 bikes. I know when I did the install on my old bike, it was several hours, much cursing and fist shaking…… and beer, lots of beer once complete. Current bike, no issues….. CVO LOL
Well, this is a preliminary start! You don't show the wiring being disconnected from their respective locations or how/where wiring gets thru the throttle side. You just just before/after shots.

Adjustable bars, easy to install hand grips, so many good changes. And thanks, I dig the bike as well!

Don’t worry, Canada won’t be that cold in the next couple of weeks unless you’re riding to Nunavut haha 😂enjoy your trip up north 😊
The forecast for Banff was a little dicey in the next week and a half…
But I hope you’re right!
Yeah, Banff can be a bit tricky to plan ahead but well worth the drive!! Can’t wait to see the videos 👍

What type of phone mount do you have? Looks like a Quadlock but I don't see a dampener.

@@FullTankAdventures no, I sent service appointment request
Do you have to cut the original grips off or do they just slide off?
