Would really have liked to see you do the removal of the stock firing pin and then the install of the new extended firing pin. It only takes 10 minutes.

I compared my Taurus 65 with my Ruger GP100. The firing pin of a GP100 is shorter than Taurus 65 that's why we experienced light primer strikes.

Great video. So I have a Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan Toklat which is a .454 Casull / 45 LC revolver. I'm getting light primer strikes with .454 rounds and of course it's driving me nuts.
I'm thinking of getting an extended firing pin as that might fix the issue. I'm wondering if you had this issue or why you got an extended firing pin to begin with? It looks like TK customs sells them.

I have a older Redhawk .41 cal. and this nut like yours is not visible. How do I remove my firing pin? Cant find it in YT.

It will be a cross pin that is blended in with the frame steel.
A strong light and closely looking for it is needed
