Oh, you clever girl! I view a LOT of UA-cam videos since I started mixed media a couple of months ago and I constantly find myself re-watching your vids because i think you are one of the most talented artists on here. Thank you so much for sharing in detail what you do!
Awesome! Thank you so much for making it so easy to watch. I wish more tutorials were like this one. I don't have the patience to sit through some tutorials because they waste so much time on unnecessary information or long drawn out video of simple tasks. Thank you so much for sharing what you know!
As someone new to the idea of polymer clay, this has been one of the BEST tutorials I have seen so far which helped me to understand how to manipulate the clay into something wonderful. Also loved your little baking tray at the end. Will be stealing that idea for bead making, for sure ;) Thank you.
Well done. Excellent step-by-step. Just the right pace. I liked the fact that you spent the time showing instead of talking. Thanks for taking the time to make the video or us!
Are you kidding me!!!!! You are truely UNBELIEAVABLE!!! What amazing talent you have!! Is there anything that you can't create?? lol!!! I wish I could just come and craft with you!! Wow!! Absolutely beautiful!! I was drooling!! TFS
Beautiful!! You've inspired me to get my polymer clay out and give it a whirl! This is the best tutorial on how to make a cane that I have seen!! Thanks so much!
Oh Rach, every time I see one of your videos I have to go to the art store and buy something else. You really help me stretch my creativity. Thanks so much for what you do, it really makes a difference to us!
Rach, I so enjoy each of your projects. Your creativity seems boundless! Your clay work simply amazes me. And now Millefiori... really? My goodness girl, your patience to create using this technique is enviable! Can't thank you enough for sharing your efforts! It's quite inspring.
I loved seeing the whole process & had often wondered how the flowers were made. As you went through the process I said DUH! OF course! how simple when you think about it but we see the end product & get bamboozled! You made it so clear. Thanks so much for sharing in a great way!!
GREAT video! I LOVE that you showed what you made with the cane. Lots of really good videos don't show in such detail what they make from whatever technique they are using. Love the colors you chose too!
Rachel, this is absolutely lovely. Wow. Your videos are always a treat to watch too, as they are so clear and detailed. Thanks for sharing this project. You have inspired me to dig out my fimo and have a go at making the beads. Regards, Susan x
That was a wonderful video!!! so clear, all steps easy to see, the music was nicely whimsical... like the beads. Thank you! Thank you! for making this and posting it.
Just wanted to say thanks for showing us the process, from beginning to end. It seems very involved, but worth the effort for the end result. If people only realized all the work that goes into your pieces.
That is beautiful!!! I've never tried this but I'm about to run to my desk and start!! WOW~~~ This page has been saved in my favorites! Thank you thank you!
That was so cool. You simply amaze me. I get so excited to watch your videos. I have paid lots of money for art classes and I learn more from you and your videos. Thank you so much for sharing.
WoW I wanted to say that I ADORE ALL of your projects - I can't wait for the next one. You are a woman of incredible talent! Also patience to make all those beads! Also the music you use is so cute! Thank you for sharing!
This is an excellent tutorial, thank you for showing us so much. You are obviously very skilled and practiced and such gorgeous products made. Very encouraging to us just starting out.
apparently, 9 beads watched this video and disliked it. Obviously they feel mistreated. I, however, give it a thumbs up and am very thankful. Definitely learned a couple new techniques from this, thank you so much!
oh my Rachel this is so beautiful..what a fantastic project and creation..you are a true inspiration..thank you so much for all your vids warm hugs janet
Clay is versatile. Nice. I used to do this with layers of clay and gold leaf, slice it thin and apply pieces to wood turning pen blanks. Bake, sand and polish. Great effect. My husband was a woodturner. I am a mixed media artist, mostly fiber. Been a long time since I worked with clay.
You are soooooo good. Right to the specifics; clearly, efficiently and personally directed. I was so enthralled I thought you were showing the whole procedure to just me. I repeat. You are GOOD. By the way I was successful in making millefiori several times. Thanks, 1926lady
I always wandered how they get the fimo in such tiny rolls, but still get the image to be perfect. Now I know. Thank you for sharing this amazing project.
Wow, you make it look so easy. I know it is harder than that but I am going to try it because I am into making Jewelry and all the beads are so expensive. I love the end result with these. The information bubbles are just great. Thanks for the great video
Truly wonderful :) I've just started my journey into clay and am greatly inspired by your work. I had no idea that it was possible to make a cane like that. Well done and thanks!
Girl you floor me! That was a lot of work. I've never seen anything like this before, I'll have to watch more clay vids now. BTW my hands are sore just from watching you. Would be good physical therapy in more ways than one.
This was one of the first videos I ever watched on youtube and at the time it had about 50 views! It popped up in my feed for some reason. Takes me back to simpler times! Hope you're keeping well Rach.
Amazing! I love watching your videos as I have no idea where you're going and it's such an exciting journey. I really hadn't a clue where you were heading at the beginning and this made the beautiful result all the more stunning. Keep up the good work!
thank you so much for your videos! This taught me so much just from this video and I haven't even got a chance to see your other yet! Thanks for all the tips that I learned from just observing! I love how your video is time lapsed to be fast-forward! Now I see it takes a lot of time and talent to make these beads! makes me want to just get up and go make some of my own!
Wow! Just WOW...Your video was very fun to watch. Thank you, this is amazing. I would like to see how at the end you were attaching them to form a necklace, a little better. That part was a little too fast and too small but still a wonderful and amazing job you've done. I appreciate your art! Thank you.
@peaches5712 Hi, Yes, a beginner could definitely give this project a go. It does take quite some time, but I think you would be very pleased with your results. A little tip if your clay becomes too soft to work with is to put it in the fridge before cutting slices from your canes. Hope you have fun with it :-)
You are AMAZING!!! Thanks so so much for giving me such fantastic ideas, even the tray is a great way to bake the beads, I had thought of it but just never had seen it live. Beautiful work
Adorable! Cannot wait to try this! I thought your video was easy to follow. I know mine won't turn out just like yours, of course! Gave me some good ideas to work with! Thx!
There must be something wrong with people who vote a dislike on a video like this. Sad people who just have a need to criticize. Anyway, I was totally surprised by the final outcome of this. I thought the flower was going to be for a larger project. You never fail to surprise me. However, the final result was really professional. You seem to succeed at all the various mediums that you try out. well done again. TFS. x
The video was only put into timelapse up to fit the maximum time allowed by YT. It is always a difficult task to decide between speed and cutting sections out, and is a very time consuming process. This video took 3 days to record, edit, render & upload. Because of the time involved, I rarely split my videos, but I usually answer any questions that have not already been addressed in the comments so far :-)
@BreyerLuver1 I've not had a problem with my blade becoming too dirty. I usually just wipe it down with a baby wipe when I'm finished with it, obviously taking care whlst doing this. If your's is really dirty, try using a cheap toothbrush and liquid soap. Hope that helps.
Is there anything that you're not talented in ? lol it is so hard to think there is any. ever since Arlene asked us to check out your channel and I've been really addicted to watching all your videos. Thanks for sharing all of your wonderful work and God bless your heart, you're amazing :)
@vietmickey This kind of project is really a whole day thing, since you need to rest the clay pieces often in a fridge after handling them which creates heat and makes it difficult to cut without distortion.
@dizzyrus1001 The project took virtually a full day, but I did stop and start, and you need to rest the clay after handling for a while, so there were quite a few breaks:-) The wire is 7" Stub Wire - I've had it for years - I think I found it in the floristry section.
Just happened onto this, I've always wondered how those tubes were done, i'm amazed how it keeps the shape inside after all the rolling and stretching, great vid :)
Totally amazing. I watched the entire video in aww. I will have to try this one day but it will take lots n lots of practice to even come close to yours. I'm new to your channel so I can't wait to catch up with all your other videos. Blessings on your craft!
WOW Rach ...are you kidding...is there any media that you don't work in :-) Just an Amazing thing to watch you create..and you create so MUCH! Absolutely gorgeous necklace..love it..love it!! Thanks So much for sharing your talent with us..The necklace looked so pretty on you...would have been nice to place a face with your immense talent LOL..Thanks Again!!
now maybe people realize why things cost what they do.....the time...the talent...the patience.
12 years old and this is the BEST tutorial I seen!!! I can’t wait to make my own!

I love your presentation. It is detailed and fast paced. Fun to watch and very informative. Thank you.
