  • Hi friends, today I’m sharing my PCOS diagnosis story, also known as polycystic ovarian syndrome. I’m sharing how I was diagnosed 15 years ago and my PCOS symptoms at the time like irregular painful periods, acne, hair thinning, & hormone imbalance (high testosterone). I also share the pressure around fertility issues, and my experience with birth control and the copper IUD. Over the past years I've learned SO much about how to balance my hormones and heal PCOS symptoms.
Do you have PCOS or struggle with hormonal imbalance? Let me know in the comments below ♡ xx, Lauryn

Thank you for sharing even though it's not something easy, lately, I got diagnosed, and unfortunately, there is not enough information about PCOS sharing your journey with us is helpful❤.

Just got diagnosed a few weeks ago. I’m probably close to your age. It’s hard, but in hindsight a lot of things make sense. I’m lucky that I haven’t dealt with weight as a symptom, but intense mood swings and depression are almost certainly due to that, and like you, I feel sorry for my younger self. Thanks for sharing ❤

You are very brave to so proudly bring light to this touchy subject. Thank you. I was also diagnosed with PCOS when I very young and there was little to no information available. It will be a life long battle with finding routines and products that work vs sheer acceptance and moving forward. For me, avoiding sugar and simple carbohydrates has been key to helping symptoms . I too thought I would not ever be able to have children because of PCOS complications and we have had 3 naturally. So there are ways and there is hope. Thank you again! 💛

Thank you ❤️ so sorry to hear you also had to go through the challenges of PCOS. Agreed, avoiding sugar helps so much. I LOVE hearing that you have 3 children! That’s amazing. Thanks for sharing xx
